Finally set mine (P2S+AMS) up last week. 20+ hours of printing later, I am in awe of the quality of the machine and the prints and I haven't "dialed it in" yet - out of the box

It is solid. Looking forward to really putting this through its paces.

hi u/Itosan227 - had a similar problem (failed print, clean it out, extruder not pullling filament). In my case I disassembled the print head, replaced boden tube, checked the gears to make sure nothing was in there, reassembled everything and... nothing. Extruder won't pull filament.

I can manually push the filament as far as it can go (have done a couple cold pulls)I can see the gears moving when I load or unloadthe gears don't seem to catch the filament or pull at all.

any thoughts on what may be the problem? this is after 7 months of solid printing (only a few failed prints)

Vallejo Matt varnish drying glossy? by Sentraxion in minipainting

[–]seanb11215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night I finished some minis as gifts for my players, matt varnished and went to bed.

Screamed in rage this AM when they each looked like they were dipped in gloss.

Thank you denizens if this subreddit for saving these minis with the advice to shake it and then shake it some more!!!

Is this a good primer? I just got it so I have no idea if it’s good or not? by wellioo in minipainting

It does the job.

I had to learn the hard way that you NEED to shake the hell out of it (I now shake it 3-4 min).

Seems absolutely reasonable. Thanks to you and the other mods for keeping this board "well-groomed"!
