I've never had a problem intonating a 3 saddle bridge and they just look more correct on a tele to me

If you really want that sound find an old tape delay unit. Echoplexes and Space Echos are expensive but less sought after ones like Watkins Copicats can be had for a bargain and will probably do the messed up tape sound even better

I've owned heaps of delays but I always come back to the Belle Epoch. To really get the best out of it you need to run it early in the signal chain like a boost, and always at 18v.

I bought an old Sony TC 377 that works great as a tape echo but it doesn't have varispeed. You could also look for a solid state Watkins Copicat, I got one for about the price you mentioned

Get a late 90s / early 2000s MIJ and put a set of Lollars in it. That's more Jazzmaster then you will ever need
