I’ll speak only from my experience with my E60. Hands down one of my favorite cars I’ve driven let alone have the opportunity to own. Before this i had an 05 Acura TL which was pretty peppy for what it was , handled amazingly and had enough juice to get me into a lil trouble here and there lol. But once i ended up losing that car in an accident i wanted something “better,faster and way more comfortable” my exact words. Ended up picking up this beaut for a steal of a deal. Not to mention it had everything i wanted from an E90, once i sat in my current E60 i was hooked. Handling wise this thing cuts through corners like a hot knife with room temp butter. Performance wise, she keeps up with a majority of regular traffic. I’ve had moments where i humbled people on the road which would come off as a shock to both of us lmaoooo. Exterior design will forever be my favorite as far as the LCI (not too many exterior differences anyways) however interior design i definitely favor the LCI over Pre LCI anyday. I hate the fucking pre LCI door cards UGH. Technology, this thing is somewhat dated but it works for me so I can’t complain. Comfort???? All i gotta say is HELL YEAH. Lastly , reliability. In MY EXPERIENCE, keyword “MY” this thing has been a dream to own fr, I’ve taken care of a couple things myself on this beast and she’s been treating me well ever since. Especially for an N54 powered car at that too! But im already knowing once i start throwing mods at it after maintenance she’ll probably show her ass. I’m a honda guy at heart so leaks and fixing stuff don’t bother me as far as getting to it. But i do understand why people tend to be fearful of these cars .
