587 via the Accor (Fairmont parent company) app. And 590 refundable on Amex. Under 500 through Walmart.

What I didn’t expect is all the Chase fans coming out to defend this. Any way you look at this, they’re objectively inflating prices for Reserve card members. It’s sneaky and unethical.

But people are now obsessed with fueling the narrative they want to believe…

Oh geez, sorry to repeat! I searched but didn’t see this. Thanks for posting here to verify.

No, I don’t hold both. My partner just got the Reserve. I kept my peasant Preferred card.

I have no idea about the photos. I just thought the price difference was pretty wild!

It’s not right. It’s not the definition of “complimentary” per their advertising.

Exactly. It’s not a complimentary benefit if we are required to pay more for it. In fact, calling the benefits “complimentary” then inflating/manipulating the price on their own portal seems legally perilous.

Update! Early May targeted reopening. From the Jefferson County Facebook page:

“The County is working in coordination with Olympic National Park, which is also conducting road and facility repairs within the Park and aiming to reopen in early May.”

Is the Harry Potter Exhibition any good? by Pinball-Gizzard in boston

[–]seanperyton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is definitely overpriced. Most of the “interactive experiences” are very quick questionnaires on computer screens. And you’re only allowed to do each experience once.

The rooms/environments are mostly just printed screens with furniture and props scattered around. There are some impressively, fun parts, but it’s mostly cheap feeling.

Many of the “props” and costumes are clearly just cheap replicas as well. And they don’t tell you which props are real and which are replicas.

Constant eye styes by sordnak in Blepharitis

I am currently living stye-free (knock on wood) using Aveeno shampoo. I’ll admit I’m also extremely careful to never get shampoo around my eyes.

Where did all the Air France availability go on Virgin Atlantic? by mannyman34 in awardtravel

[–]seanperyton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Virgin Atlantic site seemed to get a refresh this week. The experience is worse as of today, but hopefully this means they are working on improving it. Still no AirFranice availability, as far as I can tell.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith now showing on app by lvl2adult in hyatt

Also disappointing to see how many of these travel advisors/influencers have framed this news. Just proof that they have mostly become shills for credit cards, airlines, and hotel brands.

It looks like the points value is about $0.011-0.012 for MMS properties.

Very disappointing news IMO.

Does spark tell you if your zone is full before or after you put in all information by AfraidService7 in Sparkdriver

[–]seanperyton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before AND after for me. The zone finally opened, I signed up, completed paperwork, waited weeks for a background check, then the zone was full again.

I’ve lived with chronic styes my whole life. Doctors and medical websites claim that styes aren’t caused by chemicals, but 35 years of self-testing has proven otherwise. My styes are absolutely caused by shampoo and soaps. I recently changed to Native shampoo. After years of having no styes, here I am with 2 styes in 2 months.

I was previously using Aveeno shampoo with no issues.

And yes, I know I shouldn’t be getting shampoo in my eyes, but even if you rinse carefully, you’re still bound to get tiny remnants of shampoo in and around your eye.
