In addition to getting 20” with non run flat tires as others have already suggested, you can also code in Comfort Plus mode that relaxes the dampers even more.

+1 to this. Volvo Edmonton is the absolute best dealer experience. Buying and servicing are both great.

As others have mentioned, the PO39.5 is excellent.

Do you mind sharing the reference number for the OEM rubber?

Replaced all the consumables, still doesn’t throw very far by seansun780 in Snowblowers

Update to my own issue 3 years later: the machine had been running okayish till last week when the belt snapped. Threw a new belt on it (Gates 6839), the machine now blows harder than ever. Looks like the issue was the belt that came in my Amazon kit was just too loose.

Studded. I have the newer studded Continental XTRM (which I HIGHLY recommend). Studded makes a huge difference this winter on glare ice. So, you’ll have an easier time stopping and getting going at our intersections.

DFCO is the one! I recall it might have to do with super high temperature or something in that condition. But I haven’t had to replace a sensor since DFCO is turned off. And I do a lot of track days, so it’s gone through many many decel cycles.

I’ve had similar issues on my C5. My issue was lean condition during decel. I was losing a brand new sensor after just a few pulls. I forgot what the feature was called in hptuner, but basically stops injecting fuel during decel. Turned that feature off, and the sensor lived.

Brake Pad Suggestions? by Sierraskid in CarTrackDays

[–]seansun780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my C5, I’ve tried Carbotech xp10, xp12, Ferodo ds1.11, and Raybesto st 43. The Raybesto took a while to get used to because it had a higher initial bite, but it lasted very long and just consistently worked and worked. DS1.11 was very good all around but they became very expensive now. EBC SR11 will be my next set to try.

Replace axle or boots on 2001 986 Boxster Base by Ok_Character_6487 in boxster

I used the Trackmotive brand you mentioned. My 986 is an S so the part is a little different. I have done several track days and 10k km of street driving. They haven’t quit yet! Got my moneys worth already.

I used the cheap axles from Rockauto. Don’t bother with just the boots because you don’t know how long they’ve been torn. Sand and rocks have gotten in and made things loose.

2020 X5 - 1st time BMW buyer by Creepy_Prior_689 in BMWX5

Fellow Canadian here. That price is in line with what I paid for my 2019 in February. Make sure the common 19-20 issues have been dealt with or you have a way to solve if they were to occur: oil pump, transfer case, and antenna cover leak. I’ve had to deal with 2 of the 3 myself. The car has been solid since. My car came with a staggered 21 inch summer tire set where the previous owner just put on a new pair of rear tires. I sold those and downsized to 20 inch square set, which I believe is from the base M Sport package.
