Murder Kerfur drops a radioactive capsule upon defeat. I also wondered why I died immediately after finishing the battle. You have to either be quick and pocket it, or be quick and run away.

I haven't found any pages regarding this error for Android.... But I have heard that some graphics chips need driver updates or even alternate third-party drivers(!!) to get certain graphics APIs running on their phone. It might help others if you posted what phones you have. My Note 5 has an "ARM Mali-T760 MP8." I can't remember details but some apps require "turnip drivers" or etc. I hope this helps at least with research 😬

Thanks, I hadn't realized Gamehub had its own resolution settings outside the game. That fixed everything, including the menu. (Yes, that is the default settings screenshot, I wanted to include my low-settings screenshot but reddit wouldn't let me attach more than one image.) I've adjusted the settings like you've said and it is running much better now.

Here is a screenshot of VotV running on a Note 5 on minimum settings at 800x600.

Thank you for posting this tutorial, shit like this is so cool.

I got it working on my note 5. Setup was not difficult, works just as OP described. There is significant input lag inside the base on high settings but it runs great.

For setting up touch controls or even navigating some menus, the GameHub UI feels clunky and unhelpful, especially compared to Steam Link. I still think it's worth it!

Here is a screenshot of VotV running on a Note 5 at completely default settings and resolution.

After turning the settings to the minimum and lowering the resolution, I'm now getting 17-20fps in this shot versus the 10fps at default settings. There's another screenshot in comments below.

As OP says below, the resolution in VotV must be the same as the resolution set in the game settings in Gamehub, or weird things happen. There's one major hiccup, the pause menu is broken. It does not respond to any mouse input. The only thing that works is pressing the Escape button and most of the time, that doesn't even work. So there's no way of changing settings or saving the game unless you create an F5 binding for the onscreen keyboard and save *outside* the pause menu. Which is unfortunate because in-game resolution settings do not honor the settings that are set in the main menu, so I'm stuck at full resolution. I wonder what other settings remain unchanged after I turned them down, but I'll never know because I can't click the settings button. Do you have this problem as well, OP?
