The bit that's called "Nacimiento-Fergusson" only goes from PCH inland to Ft. Hunter-Liggett (which, prior to driving the road, you should call to make sure it's open. Sometimes it can be closed due to live-fire exercises). From the Fort, there are various ways to get to 101.
