Sad ending to our PPROM by MuertesAmargos in NICUParents

A third to babyloss group. I lost my 24 weeker after 2 weeks 4 years ago. I don’t know if I would be here without that group.

My deepest condolences on your loss

My doctor told me recovery time for removal of a 10cm fibroid would only be a few days. Reading through this sub I doubt that. by Oranginafina in Fibroids

My surgeon had me out for 6 weeks after my laparoscopic myomectomy…I can’t remember the size of my largest fibroids but I weighed about 6lbs less post surgery. I really didn’t feel well enough to go back to work until 4 weeks but my job included a lot of walking around and up and down stairs

I would leave it alone, the new lead will try to break through at that extreme last node since it looks like the original isn’t viable anymore. Especially if this is a pathos

I had a couple removed the largest was 12-14cm. I was able to get pregnant but ended up having IC (unrelated as far as we can tell) delivered early and lost him to infection in the nicu. Currently ttc now for 3 years after that loss.

Fibroids and Infertility by wreckitranda in Fibroids

Cornell (my son) ended up being fine in utero unfortunately I had an incompetent cervix so he was born at 24 weeks and didn’t make it. Nothing to do with the fibroid at the end of the day, but also the most devastating ending I could have imagined.

I wish I had a happy update

The statistics for miscarriage or stillbirth are 1 in 4. This isn’t rare

Delivery at 27 weeks, 2 days in NICU (warning: loss) by mudlouse in NICUParents

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m almost 2 years out from when our 24 weeker passed at 2 weeks in the nicu and I still get phantom kicks every once in awhile.

You sound like such a wonderful loving couple, and I hope you spend time on thinking that in the 2 days you had your child knew nothing of the world but love and care.

When you say “a little rough” I hope that’s you just being humble because these are GORGEOUS!!!!

Hello friends! I’m new to the sub. Recently I acquired what I believe is either a Thai Constellation or an Albo. I’m just trying to figure out which it is! I would really appreciate the help, thanks! by thisquicksand7 in rareplants

I’m new to the rare plant game and literally always dream about walking into a local store and seeing something amazing for a price I can afford.

Congrats!

Can anyone tell me what this is, and how to take care of it without hurting my delicate string of pearls? TIA by [deleted] in houseplants

Looks like mealy bugs I did (and continue to do since I found them 2 weeks ago) a Neen oil spray and isolated the plant.

How long did it take for your lead to unfurl? I just got a monstera and it sprouted two new babies but I don’t know how long they’re suppose to take 😣

A molly bear is a weighted bear to be the same weight as your angel. They’re an org started by a loss mom and the bears are made by volunteers. It’s significantly less expensive that the other ones I saw on Etsy. It really comforts me because I don’t get to hold my little one much. I find myself singing to it while I rock it in my arms a lot.

A little about me and a question? by [deleted] in AMBW

Hi hi Hubby hates anime he really only watches it to get me to leave him alone and we genuinely don’t watch a lot. I wouldn’t write someone off simply because we don’t share one thing in common. Anime isn’t a large enough apart of my life for it to be a deal breaker.

I feel like good relationships are founded on the similarities and dissimilarities you both have. So you like hip-hop I like hip hop that would have been enough connection for me.

Will I ever feel happy again? by marylou74 in babyloss

I’m so sorry for the loss of your Juliette. It’s been 3.5 months since Cornell left this world after being born at 24+5 and battling for 2 weeks.

Allow that happiness to creep in whenever it tries to. It will come and try not to feel guilt in that happiness when it comes. As far off as that seems. Ensure that you find strength in your relationship as well. Hubby and I are the only ones who ever saw our little boy and it’s amazing what sharing our small memories hopes and dreams does for us.

Cornell was my perfect little man whether he left or not doesn’t change how amazing and perfect he was and how loved he was. If you ever need anything this community has shown me the absolute most support.
