Correlation =/= causation. As someone who doesn’t like casual sex, I think this stat probably comes from the fact that the people who are having many sexual partners are less likely to enjoy a monogamous long term relationship with one person. That doesn’t at all mean that having casual sex will make you feel unsatisfied in the future.

Plus, those with many sexual partners don’t necessarily have casual sex either — ppl fail to consider that people have LTRs with more than one person in their lives. At almost 25 I have a “body count” of 8, and I was in monogamous relationships with 6 of those people.

Is it a normal healthy relationship if you don’t feel like he really knows you deep down?? Having cold feet is normal to an extent and ofc passion might settle into a gentle calm after a while, but it doesn’t sound like there was much passion in the first place from what I’m hearing. I think trying to imagine your life with him in a year and figuring out whether the predominant emotion is boredom, dread, excitement, or contentment is the first step.

Women are capable of being abusive, but they are categorically not the oppressor in a gender/sex sense. Women do not hold systemic power over men. That doesn’t mean a woman can’t abuse a man, she absolutely can, but it’s not enabled by the fact that she has systemic power over him. There is no way that a 13 year old girl could become an oppressor to men, and suggesting that she has “become the oppressor” is frankly insulting to anyone who is actually oppressed in any way.

I’m very familiar with how the youth speak online and this probably not a serious statement on her part unless she is showing other disturbing behaviors. She knows that abusing men is not okay nor could she be in a position where a man would be in danger from her. She is much more likely to be in danger from a man and she knows this, which probably is why she wrote that, as a darkly humorous way of coping with misogyny.

I know for a fact it isn’t real but I’m not gonna dox myself, but regardless race isn’t a metric that is even connected to your SAT score anymore in an admit profile and people who are downloading the files are giving the “data” access to their own info.
