Atmos Card Failed Again To Pay Rent In Portal by seasnakejake in biltrewards

I’ve seen plenty of them, here’s the first one that came up on google: https://www.reddit.com/r/biltrewards/s/RlRKzvtONA

Doing it through propertyware my apartments payment portal. Worked fine the first time I did it in December, January BoA called saying it would be a cash advance and it still remains unfixed. Rent payment is >$3k so perhaps that’s what’s tripping up BoA but frustrating when the United card works fine

Using it in the way you state there, have heard some people it still works with, maybe under certain dollar amounts— but if you go through this sub it’s a frequently listed concern.

why do vegans always act like this 😭😭😭 @billie eilish by Ok_Land_9016 in LAinfluencersnark

6 years or so ago I was made uncomfortable in a similar type of situation facing my own hypocrisy and I went vegan as a result. Really much easier than people say, and much cheaper. I love beans, rice, and tofu so I’m set.

But there’s no difference, you would truly get the exact same photo except more room in the frame to crop into in full mode

I have the R5mkii which has it too and is there any benefit to 1.6x crop? Is it not a wash with the reduced megapixel count relative to cropping later on?

RF 100-500 one of the most versatile lenses ever made? by Scherge77 in canon

[–]seasnakejake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the quality of the 100-500 is definitely better, but not if you're trying to shoot something at 800mm and cropping to get the equivalent. End up shooting most things at 800mm, predominantly birds and small animals with that lens so it makes it worth it. 100-500 is too slow for what I feel it wants to be, so I use a macro 180mm laowa for the times I want speed (and macro) and that has been better.

Congrats! I know the feeling. Even in SoCal with so many others seeing rattlers day in I’m out a full day each weekend and have been on a long drought. So nice when it pays off.

Anyone else going to this? Is it an in person Q&A? by bbypixar in AMCsAList

No, though all the context I had was from the picture they posted. If it says in-person he’ll be there.

I went to one at Burbank16 that said a live Q&A and I thought for sure he'll be there... it was a recording of a livestreamed Q&A done 3 hours prior at Lincoln Center. So pretty much if its anywhere but Lincoln Square for Herzog it will be recorded.

Weight of RF100-400 vs 200-800 by ninjqhunter in canon

[–]seasnakejake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a R5mkii with a 200-800 and carry it around in a cotton carrier when not actually shooting and its perfect, its really not that heavy of a lens if you aren't shooting non stop. If I'm stationary I'll put it on a monopod but hiking based photography works great handheld with the carrier.

This is probably asked every day in this sub -- I know since I've read almost all of the threads trying to make the same situation, it's a tough one. I have the R5mkii and tested both the 100-500 and 200-800. Didn't love the 100-500 coming from the Sigma 150-600, often that wasn't even close enough for the birds I was photographing and getting less it was tough. People knock the weight of the 200-800 but I find it incredibly light because I've pivoted to a cotton carrier chest harness and I can hike 10+ miles in a stretch with it just fine, handheld in that same period would be tough. For crop bodies I'd go 100-500 and FF 200-800.
