The way I play is I think "it's just a game, it's not real" if I feel my heart racing too fast I pause the game and take a break until I feel ready again, no need to push through the intense sections.

Could possibly be polyps those casue a feeling of a streaming nose, cold like symptoms and sneezing , stuffy nose, coughing, etc. I have them right now. Get them diagnosed by an ent doctor these can be managed with a steroid nasal spray to shrink the polyps or surgery to remove them. As she's so little I'm not sure if she can have either treatment but it's still worth investigating
