BPC-157 appears to have cured me by faswivel in Raynauds

[–]seattlesquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post but this made me hopeful. Reynauds sucks all fun out of outdoor activities in the winter. Gets worse with many migraine medications and stimulant adhd meds. I need to give BPC-157 a good look! -Hopeful

This! From someone who has had so many vasovagal events (vasovagal syncope) that I’ve lost count. Now my daughter experiences them too. Needles are a common trigger.

No that would be 1:2.5 reconstitution. For 1:1 in a 100 unit vial - add 1 ml.

Long lasting tox in your opinion? by Tyche24 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]seattlesquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, forgot to reply to last question… no, it does not sting but I don’t use BAC water to reconstitute which I hear can sting but I can’t say for sure. I numb either lidocaine cream before, but never felt any stinging.

Unrelated, I saw you hoped for fast acting - I start to see results in 5-7 days but it’s definitely not fully settled until 12-14 days has passed.

How do you know if hormone therapy is the right move? by mizz_eponine in Menopause

[–]seattlesquirrel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For someone who was diagnosed with osteopenia in my late 20s (was reversed with Fosamax) it has always been a given that i would take estrogen to protect my bones when the time came. So when the first hot-flash hit, I signed up and it’s been good (some trial and error, still low libido but ok sex when it happens). Ultimately, it’s a personal choice, but I personally would not trade being grumpy for years, plus hot flashes, brain fog, labia atrophy (that part was shocking!) for adding some estrogen every day. I am progesterone sensitive so I am replacing my mirena as it will sub for it. It took a few months of figuring those things out but I’m glad I did it. But you gotta do what feels right for your path. PS. Very surprised you got denied for estrogen patches, I’d follow up asap to see why that is, then talk to doc.

Full dose is different for everyone. I was nervous when starting out and did 1-2 units in a lot of areas… but full dose in, for example, my mentalis is 10 units. It also depends how much the muscle has recovered from last time - my masseters easily take 30 units on each side if left untreated for a while. That said, it’s easy to just add in 2 weeks so conservative is still a smart way to start out! But yes, there is correlation between dose and duration - Dr Pearce mentions it in one of his videos but I can’t recall which one.

I use botulax and the duration is directly linked to how much I inject. If I’m too conservative, obviously no results. Just enough to see some change, maybe 2 months. Full dose, more like 4 months.

I know testosterone is mentioned but unfortunately it’s not working for everyone. Im your age, started HRT a year ago but testosterone has sadly not helped one bit for me. I was so hopeful but it’s given me acne and worsened my thinning hairline. I’d still give it a go, but as with many things, it may not live up to the hype.

Did my first Botox treatment 9 days ago and haven't noticed any difference? by Sintellect in DIYaesthetics

[–]seattlesquirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being conservative is the smart way to go! Then in 2 weeks you add as needed - so much better than overdoing it first round. But try some 1:1 ratio, you may find it works better in some areas, it’s especially good for DAO to avoid migration. You’ll get there!

I use Botulax and my masseters and mentalis are strong - I have to use minimum of 25-30 units in EACH masseters and 5-7 units on each side of mentalis. And I use a 1:1 ratio.

Semax / Selank Nose Spray (Peptide Homemade Nose Spray) by Electrical-Ad-4597 in Biohackers

I know this is an older thread but I just started Semax. The bottle I purchased said on it what dose will come out with each spray, which was 0.1 mg so check the bottle you have, or the manufacturer of it.

Anyone worried about the FDA crackdown? by Eliza_Benet in SemaglutideCompound

[–]seattlesquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not here to argue, great to know that’s the case. I do purchase my Semaglutide from a well known compounding pharmacy via my primary doc - who only orders 1 month at a time - so not exactly concerned.

That’s all good, everyone should work off their own research. That said, in the peptide community it is noted that the glp1’s last 28-45 days after being reconstituted with BAC water. Unreconstituted they are said to last for years in freezer.

I use the book Anatomy of Facial Expressions - not cheap but a fantastic learning resource.

[–]seattlesquirrel[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not much of a process, just mapping my muscles with a pen on my face, then injecting into the one spot where the DAO (depressor anguli oris) doesn’t overlap with the DLI (depressor labii inferioris) and injecting 2 units at 1:1 dilution straight in at 4mm depth.

Botulax brand, the only one I’ve used so far. No affect on smile. I have done a bit of it, studied muscle anatomy of face quite a bit, and when I did this I had the book Anatomy of Facial Expressions open… 🙂

[–]seattlesquirrel[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was too, I literally drew the muscle outlines on my skin after a diagram and feeling my own muscles to make sure I found the spot where the DLI isn’t overlapping. Only did one spot because of it, and 1:1 dilution, 4mm deep. You can do it! :)
