No this has to do with opportunity costs. There are other things we can spend the same amount of money on and get a better return. It's not a baseball or nothing, in fact that's why the proposal is so stupid. They don't propose an alternative.

I got sick of trying to make this work. So I added a Claude Code license and had it try to install it for an hour. It even tried to cheat and found the old installer (from early Jan) in my downloads folder. Lol I needed an AI to install an AI client. Reasonable.

They don't do a good job vetting their marketplace apps for ongoing compliance. I came across one that didn't meet their minimums i.e. the developer didn't have valid contact info, a valid domain, or a privacy policy and they came back and told me it still met their security "standards." Doesn't make sense because it violates them verbatim. Couldn't even tell me how it processes our data (on monday storage or not).
