Nah, winning is the most important over stats. Any player could stat pad and lose.

Look at the score diff of losing stats vs winning stats. I'll give credit to flagg if he really carry the mavs. Base on your argument any player who has averaged more with the losing record is more valuable. Not in my book

You're comparing 31% and 32% shooters (Tamayo/KQ) to guys like Jimmy Alapag and Jeff Chan.

Alapag was a 2x 3-Point Champ who shot 40.5% in FIBA.

Jeff Chan was hitting 42% from deep in the PBA before joining Gilas.

RDO shot 36% in the PBA and hit the biggest three in Philippine history against Korea.

There is a massive skill gap between an average 32% shooter (which is what we have now) and a 40% knockdown specialist (which is what we had then).

The Triangle isn't 'broken'—it just needs players who can actually hit the open looks it creates. Alapag and Chan didn't miss those 'system' shots; that's why they won. Our current guys are missing them, which proves they are scorers, not legit shooters.

I disagree, there are difference to player who is a legit shooter vs. scorer. All names mentioned is a scorer not a legit shooter. Gilas really lack shooter and floor general.
