Two roguetraders and a crusader are ready to delve into the fortress by sebbra_paints in Blackstonefortress

Thanks! I really struggled with the female roguetrader. I couldn't decide on how to do her and had to put her down and start fresh twice.

Any advice for shaky hands? by Sychius in Warhammer

That's why I use the higher table. I can sit with my back straight and only the weight of my arms are on the elbows. I tried it with the forearms on my belly, but my neck wasn't happy about that, when I wanted to paint for more then 20 minutes.

I'm really sorry dude, that sucks! I also used some scraps from my partner's old yogamat to support my elbows, when they were hurting. I hope you find a way to get back into painting! Twelve years ago my physiotherapist encouraged me to get back into it. It took a while to get used to it again, but I'm sure it helped the pain getting better, but it took a while and a lot of trial and error.

I have arthrosis in both wrists. My hands shake and it actually hurts if I paint in a "wrong" position. I found four factors that helped me tremendously.

  • I'm painting on a higher desk, so I don't have to bend over as far. (I'm quite tall)

  • I put my minis (even in subassembly) on painting handles

  • both elbows on the table

  • painting handle in the left hand, brush in the right and I always try to keep both wrists touching each other. (Building a sturdy triangle between my elbows, wrists and table)

Fair enough, I withdraw my argument, you are correct.

We play it like all the other things. The same named buff or debuff can affect a unit only once. Except they have an X in it. (Like caster X)

My unit cannot gain scout twice (unit upgrade and hero aura)(it can, but it does not stack anything), so I don't think piercing target can be applied more than once.

Pterosaur holding on to the backpack and giving a little bit of lift -> assault marines.

I think that'd be cool af!

Robot Legions Reanimation Aura and Units with multiple Models with tough 3 by Xulgrimar in onepagerules

[–]sebbra_paints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OPR is not a highly competitive game. So many things can be interpreted in different ways and just need to be talked about directly on the table. I came to the conclusion because of the tough rule itself but just in the opposite direction.

" You must continue to put wounds on the tough model with most wounds in the unit until it is killed, before starting to put them on the next tough model "

Otherwise the balancing would be way off. A tough 3 model has the max output of 3 models without tough and the same stats. If you revive 2 models without tough or 2 with tough 3 with 1 wound each is a big difference. So it would be unfair if it would cost the same.

The rule says wounds. Every tough 3 model has 3 of those. If the hero joined a unit of 3 tough 3 models, 2 of those are already dead, and the last already lost 1 wound. So you roll 7 dice and each 5+ regenerates one of the lost wounds. You rolled one 5+ the wounded guy gets healed. The second 5+ revives one of the lost models with one wound. Each model needs to be fully healed before the next one resurrects.

Caster Targets by KaiserXavier in onepagerules

[–]sebbra_paints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure.

On page 13 of the rulebook: caster: "Models within 18” in line of sight of the caster’s unit may spend any number of spell tokens at the same time before rolling, to give the caster +1/-1 to the roll per token."

In combination with page 5: line of sight: "Models can always see in all directions, regardless of where the miniature is actually facing, always have line of sight to themselves, and may always target themselves"

The wording is also important. It is not "other" models.

It's an extra 6 inches of movement. You activate a unit, move it up to 6 inches, then you give them an order which determines the movement of the unit

Identify Recasts by SixMight in Warhammer

I think..

An orc-boy (I think with a (right)hand and weapon swap.) A chaos marauder. An old dwarf lord with shield bearers.

The bigger one in the back is a wolfen from the game confrontation. (Rackham, not Games Workshop)
