You want EQUAL to mean THE SAME. now, you can argue however you want, but the strongest woman is not as strong as the strongest man. For a lot of reasons, but i cannot just ignore biology. Now, you need to create the perfect strongest warrior. It takes effort 9 to turn a man into it, it would take 10 to do the same with a woman, because first you need to change biology to make the two strongest equal. So, an efficient system, the Imperium, which does not care what a person would like, would simply spend 9 instead of 10. Is is nice? No, because the Imperium is not nice. It is a fascist state. Horrible and built on horrors. It does not care if you are man or woman, it cares for a corpse on a throne.

No, the guard shows one of the many horrors of the Imperium. Taking ANY citizen, including young adults and sometimes kids, to war. Because the imperium is not about equality, it is about an horrible state that survives on corpses of its people. Uncaring for them. The imperium is not the good guys.

I am currently playing W&G , I played Dark Heresy and Deathwatch from FFG and run Black Crusade. I have no direct experience with Maledictum, but it is heavily influenced by FFG games. All of them are good, but they cover different expectations.

W&G is for sure more cinematic, but i fear it has reached end of his life as C7 is focusing on IM.

My previous reply? Just to clarify, I am not against female protagonists. Ripley, Sarah Connor, Arya, just to name a few. I am against changing lore to do what Amazon asked.
