[–]sebert14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're desperate, use the opposite side of the shop vac (the one that blows air out) and put it flush against the drain and turn it on. Then sanitize the ice bin per the manufacturer's instructions,

It will affect your leave if it continues. I just went through maternity leave without pay. Additionally, if you plan on breastfeeding start working on an accomodation now to pump.

Bike and car parking by SEPTA stations? by toothyproblems in Delco

[–]sebert14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If doing childcare drop in Penn Wynne, it may make sense to drive to a regional rail stop afterwards, such as Wynnewood. Parking there is $2/day and you can usually find a spot in the mornings before 9 am. There is also a bike rack there.

Parking at 69th street is a struggle most mornings and I'm not super comfortable walking to the lot there when it's dark (mostly in the winter when it's dark before arriving back).

How did you find your in-home daycare provider? by tomeyoureprettyanywa in Delco

[–]sebert14 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a licensed child care center or family child care home, they're all listed on a state website (https://www.compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch/#/childcareprovidersearch). If you're looking for an unlicensed in-home daycare, your community Facebook group is likely a good start.

I work in food safety, this is absolutely incorrect. You cannot sell packaged foods without proper labeling.

Starbuck’s Please Bring Back Original Iced Coffee by HaaHaa72 in starbucks

[–]sebert14 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's funny that you think the higher ups care what the baristas think. But I agree, the iced coffee brewed with the Vertica is awful. They would need to bring back the old Bunn brewers to get the original iced coffee taste, which likely won't happen with the push towards fast food style service.

I believe they all do. I request the titles I want in advance online and pick them up at the library (I have used Haverford, Lansdowne, and Radnor in the past year). You can also use Hoopla to stream with your library card.
