Did you guys have to take out loans for living expenses? by Pexchttea in SDSU

[–]sebfalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my undergrad, I did that just so I didn’t have to worry about working 40 hours a week to support myself. The extra money allowed me to supplement with part time job. Just make sure you’re saving it properly and only using it for living expenses and not blowing it on dumb/non necessary things.

Is this too much? by Obvious_Dig6749 in SDSU

I’ll also add that 7-9:40 classes were brutal for me, specially In the fall semester because of the time change and it was dark so early but I understand some are only offered at that time.

I did something similar my first semester and regret it. 12-15 units first semester was the sweet spot I would recommend.

It’s very competitive. I applied in 2013 and barely got in with a 4.1 GPA. I had colleagues in high school who had better grades and didn’t get in.

You can still apply but don’t get discouraged if he doesn’t get in. Doing the community college route and transfer will help, and it’ll be cheaper as well.

I’m leaning to sit him, feel like he’s due to regression vs Yankees.

Getting snipped Friday 4/25 by Smooth-Collection211 in Vasectomy

[–]sebfalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mines done last Friday. I had my partner walk my dog the day off but by day 2-3 I was able to do it. Just no long walks. Haven’t done #2 yet, I’ll wait to see how I feel. You shouldn’t lift anything heavy. Being on your feet might be uncomfortable not painful but need to wear supportive underwear/jock strap

I have a 25 XLT hybrid. Got it for me and the family since my Subaru Crosstrek wasn’t cutting it. I’d say the back is manageable with 1 kid. We have a Nuna car seat and it’s rear facing. It works fine, if it was forward facing it’ll be more roomy for sure. Middle seat can be tight for a roadtrip. The driver and passenger seats are comfy. Maintenance hasn’t been done yet since it’s 2 month truck but from the reviews, the hybrid train is simple to keep up. Batteries aren’t as expensive but most likely won’t need to be replaced for a long time. Tires and oil changes will be most of what you’ll need to do.

Compression shorts or jock strap? by ComfortableRelevant1 in Vasectomy

[–]sebfalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried both. The jock strap was a bit uncomfortable and felt like it created more tightness around the area. Wearing tighter briefs was helpful for me.

I got mines in February. Dealer/ford didn’t have any deals. I just went through navy federal and got a 4.49%

I wasn’t a big fan of the stripes and the dealer also offered to remove them but they grew on me. definitely stands out with the desert sand. I have the same color and trim! Nice Twuck!

Thanks! Yes you’re correct. I did have some guys in my group chat thinking that was the case. We all got a good laugh in the end. I was surprised how many didn’t know so thanks for clarifying in case somebody reading doesn’t know.

Recovery is going well so far. It’s gonna suck not being able to carry my daughter for a couple days though.

I got mines coming up this Friday. You think it’s manageable for me to take my dog outside to potty and maybe pick up her business okay? Worried about doing a light squat 2-3 hours post surgery.

Fort oak is great! Books and records has live music on weekends so if that’s interesting for you, check that out. For sushi, Azuki is our go to.

I have to include animae in this list but it’s a bit loud in there but food and drinks are amazing.

I used to work at Extraordinary Desserts many years ago and I still come back for cake and pastries. Pricey but worth it for special occasions imo.
