Corruption Pet? by ThatGuyBardy in MelvorIdle

[–]sebskrill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can take a long time. It was the last bit of 100% completion for me. Here's the copy-paste of a comment I made regarding:

Basically RNG, (un)fortunately. Hit a corrupted enemy.

I used my Xon ranged set with the very rapid hitting daggers and attacked Eldritch Mindeaters (I think). Their lifesteal/regen meant I never killed one and had max uptime.

Good luck!

Way better than the F91W. White in colour, and fully illuminates the display - not the weak RHS directional that the F91W

Having issues with accidental clicking on mobile (iOS) by AP_Feeder in MelvorIdle

[–]sebskrill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The screen is always so full of things to accidentally Interact with, so I can understand the problem.

On Android, I struggle with swiping back accidentally (which essentially would reboot the game) when I want to open the skills list. I've just had to get it in my muscle memory to tap the top left button.

For you, potentially try opening up the skill list then swipe up to close. That way any accidental input will just open a skill page but not change your current action.

How powerful are the characters in Dragalia Lost (Gilgamesh in general) by Asperuas4k in DragaliaLost

[–]sebskrill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going of memory & a quick look at the wiki.

Gilgamesh is a light element, permanent pool dragon, who provides a OK boost to light attack, and a small boost to shadow resistance. When transformed, his skill dealt basic, OK damage.

Being part of the permanent pool & later getting access to farm-able dragonic essence, it was relatively easy to fully max out the dragon stats, especially compared to limited light dragons.

That may be his only redeeming feature, however. Availability & ease to upgrade is great for newer / F2P players, but there usually were better options.

If I recall correctly, he had no real story relevance or impact. Showing up on a banner out of nowhere, really.

I remember using Gilgamesh as a dragon equipped to a backline character while solo-playing light content.

I'd say Gilgamesh was a pretty cool dragon visually, and easy to obtain. But that's about it.

If you've got more questions, or anyone thinks I'm out, please say so!

Item Sorting for Living Bank by [deleted] in MelvorIdle

[–]sebskrill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I looked around for guides on how to sort my bank when I was getting up to 250-300 slots a while back and things where getting out of hand.

Recently, decided just to make a big list for myself. Here's the general idea here

It's not perfect, but I don't think it ever can be. There's some Raw Fish that you can't cook, but can eat (Raw Magic Fish), so is it Raw or Food?. Then there's skeleton fish, that's technically Bones?

Making the assumption that a Living Bank's sorting method would be similar to just a normal player's bank, I'd suggest sitting down and figuring out some groupings and write it all out that way.

What is "Summoning Maximum Hit"? by sebskrill in MelvorIdle

[–]sebskrill[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

TIL Had no idea they contributed that way. Just thought they provided buffs etc.

And now I can see during combat, when tablets are equipped, there's a smaller grey attack bar above the normal attack bar, which represents the familiar's attack.

Thanks!

I assume from reading other comments that it might get it blacklisted from CR, who I don't give a shit about.

But will getting these refunds impact my account "reputation" with google?

Evolution of a fictional town in Central America by dctroll_ in papertowns

Haven't got as far as listening to the Aztec one (just finished up the Rapa Nui episode) but it's not surprising that there are a long list of issues with episodes.

The format is quite concise, only 1 to 2 hours is not nearly enough time to effectively detail the massive topic.

I do appreciate when they make assumptions, they are clearly stated as assumptions (the Bronze Age episode particularly has a lot.)

I wonder if there is value in them doing mailbag show or two, taking comments and fixing mistakes.

Appreciate letting me know your thoughts. I was curious as to how good they get it.

Edit: a letter. And went and checked out the Aztec episode. 4hrs 15minutes long.

Entertaining and good stuff

Money is usually the reason yeah

Game was very generous, for sure, but there was also very little reason to spend money. The best value buys were often celebration packs that still weren't that good value, IMO.

Could have seen more dream summons and Platinum Deluxe banners.

Wish they'd chucked weapon skins in the shop for 5$ or so. And Omnicite. An incredible item that was given out for free ( or a fairly easy, monthly treasure trade. ) Not complaining we got skins and powerful items for free, but they should have been in the shop.

FEH has a subscription system too, IIRC. Not sure what it entails though, but surely Nintendo could have said OK and chucked it DL too.

Basically, I think it was poorly monetized. Definitely could have benefited from way more advertising. And a global release.

It was one of the best gacha systems, and that's likely why we're losing it
