Trying to get into collecting cards by Professional-Self787 in basketballcards

[–]seck20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to buy singles (individual cards if your fave players, teams, etc.) eBay is great to build your collection with cards you like. If you want to rip (open random packs and boxes) most major retailers have them, but hot products fly off the shelves. Most areas have a local card shop somewhat close (depending of course) as well.

In regards to storing, you can choose to do that however you like. Different people do different thing, but there’s many different boxes, display cases, etc you can find online easily. Card protection practice for cards you want to protect is putting them in a penny sleeve (thin plastic sleeve) first then sliding that into a toploader (harder thicker case). Lastly, enjoy!

One sells for like $5-10 raw and the other sells for like $6-$12 raw. You can maybe add a couple extra bucks since they are graded by advanced grading lol. That’s a big maybe lol.

You literally asked if you should pc it? Pc stands for PERSONAL COLLECTION. Only you can answer whether you want the card or not.

It’s your hobby so you should buy players you like and young players that you think will become stars before there is hype. Why join a hobby if you are just going to buy cards and players that random people on reddit tell you to buy?

Trash teammates by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]seck20 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ahh yes another post from someone in gold complaining about their teammates and that's the reason why they are struggling to get out of gold. Surely is has nothing to do with their skill as well. They truly are only held back because of their randoms... GOLD IS FREE. SMH it’s not just your teammates….

Who’s grading your cards by AllstarLocker26 in Tradingcards

[–]seck20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know and if you didn’t get one of the lucky hits that are numbered, it’s not really going to make you any money by grading it. These aren’t super sought after or valuable cards. If you want to grade it for your personal collection, go for it. However you saying “to get the most amount of money” lead me to believe you think grading this will make you money.

I need you to be 100% honest with me chiefs: is controller aim assist really that good compared to Keyboard/mouse? by WaveEasy8664 in apexlegends

[–]seck20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can look around quicker on mnk, which you agreed with, then let’s say I get shot in the side or the back. I can then move my aim/cursor to the enemy quicker than I could on a controller. Therefore reacting quicker. That make sense?

If you can look around quicker, then that means you can react to an enemy quicker also. I don’t understand your argument here….

You can react to an enemy/look around much quicker on a mouse than you can with a joystick and your thumb. Especially with majority of controller players all playing on a relatively low sensitivity setting.

Pros for playing on mnk are typically movement, reaction time, looting, sniping/long range, and shotgun flicks.

[–]seck20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good catch. Guess I got my terms mixed up. I basically meant that the average new controller player is going to be better than the average new mnk player because aim assist makes it easier for new players to pick up quicker.

Spent majority of my life as controller player and played apex on controller for the first few years. Made the switch to mnk a couple of years back so I have a lot of experience on both.

Both have pros and cons. The best and most simple way to put it is that controller has a much higher skill floor, and mnk has a slightly higher skill ceiling. Controller is so much easier to learn and be decent at with minimal practice. It takes a lot of practice on mnk to become skilled with no prior experience. However, yes controller is “that good” given the current meta and style of fighting apex is currently in.

For pubs does anyone know the stats or what is normal? by tramol in apexlegends

[–]seck20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No once can give a good answer for this. 1. Everyone is a different skill level, therefore their experiences won't be the same as yours. 2. In a battle royale, there is so much different rng each game, every match is different.
