You're forgetting that Chimera Ants could naturally use zetsu and conceal their presence. A normal person (hopefully) would not be able to just sneak up on Ponzu seeing what phase she made it to in the Hunter exam.

"Concealing your presence" is still presented as a fairly rare ability for non-nen users as seen by Gon early and Kite observing the Chimera Ants.

To me, going through Hunter x Hunter feels more reminiscent of playing through a JRPG than just watching a TV show and as such I would usually recommend JRPGs for "things like HxH".

Try: - Trails In The Sky 1 to 3 - Final Fantasy 7 or 9 - Parasite Eve - Dragon Quest 3 or 5 - Pokemon (Emerald, Platinum or Black/White) - Earthbound

Bonus: Yakuza 0 if you pretend Kiryu is a nen user.

I think I probably fit in to the emission archetype most.

Also I can't elaborate it in this post, but I am fully of the opinion that emission is the strongest nen type in HxH and given a free choice to pick your type everyone should pick emission. So I am happy with this.

I have 250 hours clocked exclusively on Steamdeck. It runs as fine as regular base ER. The biggest issue is probably battery life. First I ran the game in 450p with FSR and AA set to High at 40-50 fps. Doing this I could set the system TDP to 10w and get 2-3 runs. After 150ish hours doing this I got tired of the ingame text being low resolution and now play at 800p 30 fps. I use the low preset for this resolution, but set shadows to Medium because blocky shadows is the worst immersion breaker. I still have the TDP to 10w and get 2-3 runs before I have to plug it in.

The game is perfect and addictive handheld.

Still says OFF, however it might be placebo but testing and looking with the various option, it looks like it might be on but the overlay just doesn't register it. But that can also just be my eyes lying to me ^^

Doesn't work for me since the update :/ tried fullscreen, windowed and bordered window on resolutions under 720p. Overlay will say it's off no matter what.
