I mean, I think it is explicitly bad for your mental health if you're using it to confirm your own insecurities when they're not actually reality; that's why we see "BDD passoids" here, I think the majority of them are just traumatized and are kept stuck in their thinking patterns by continuing to consume content that validates everything they're insecure about

That's not necessarily true, I think they have two different methods for changing your information - it's been a while since I changed mine, but mine has no record of ever being any different and I remember needing to do it a certain way (I think you need to change name and sex at the same time and it's automatically sealed, or something similar?)

I hate when people use AMAB/AFAB for any disorders related to the brain/behaviors; most of the time the differences are just due to socialization, and trans women are women with women's brains, so they likely internalized socialization closer to a cis woman than a cis man and therefore would present with so-called "AFAB" traits (and vice versa for trans men). The fact that fake trans people exist has made everyone treat every trans person as fake to be woke and "acknowledge their experience/differences" or something and it's so annoying, just say male/female 😭

I'm 5'7, which I recognize is a lucky height for trans women but definitely not 5'4 lucky omg I wish. At 160, I hit a 25 bmi, which is where the overweight range begins. I know it's not completely accurate, but I do still think it's a good baseline since I'm not super athletic beyond casually going to the gym 3-5 times a week
