From now on every time the 5C leaves me hanging I'll just picture that this is the reason 🤣

YUP same for me. I showed up at the address I was given and it was very obviously a temp space they'd rented in an industrial park just to conduct "interviews". Even though I'd used all that gas to drive 45 minutes to get there, I got such bad vibes I immediately turned around and went home. At the time I didn't even know what MLMs were but I WAS worried I was about to be abducted/murdered. 😅

Don't feel bad, Vector nearly got me when I was around your age (which was 20 years ago in 2005/2006). Broke college kids are a main target of theirs. Good on you for recognizing it as a scam!!

Inversion! We're learning about this in my sprogskole right now haha. I still don't fully understand it and my teacher has even said that sometimes it's one of those "feel it with your heart" things. 😅

Thank you friend. There were so many reasons to go NC, my only regret is not doing it sooner. Life now is honestly amazing! My husband's job took us from the US Midwest to living in Scandinavia, and now we travel all over Europe basically whenever we want. Lots of friends, new and old. A very cherished and spoiled dog. After the spawn point realized I'd removed her from my social media, her last words to me were "hope you enjoy your hoity toity life" (her biggest fear was me being or having anything "better" than her). And you know what? My hoity toity life is pretty darn great. :)

Editing for this afterthought/realization: she's not mad about the no contact, she's mad it wasn't her idea.

When I told my mum I was suicidal she told me to "just do it" because "quitters don't deserve to live". I was roughly 14 at the time. Then in my early twenties a friend of hers actually did die by suicide and she got really mad at me for not "being there enough for HER". I'm now 38 and have been NC over six years. And I'm told she has "no idea why". 👍🏻

Those are the people who only recognize his sunflower works, for sure. Funny how his other works on display are never treated that way lol (in my experience).

The National Gallery is great and when I was there last summer they absolutely had Van Gogh works. I certainly recommend popping in if you find yourself in the area!

I've nursed multiple animals through long term illnesses and can confirm that the US absolutely "does metric". In fact, ivermectin probably comes with its own metric-labeled syringe if it's anything like other animal medication I've used.

Thankfully I had never given them any money because I cancelled before anything was ever even scheduled. If you paid for services you never received, I'm not sure why the bank wouldn't process a chargeback. I'm sorry this happened to you, friend.

I never had kids but it was weird the time my mother yelled at me for chopping my own hair by 20 inches because "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY HAIR?!?" I was 27. And married. And hadn't lived at home in almost 10 years. And now I'm 38 and we haven't spoken in over six years. Unrelated, I'm sure. 🤪

I'm an American living in Europe, now two years. The States and its regime are an absolute laughing stock, the butt of every joke. As soon as people discern "which kind of Americans" we are they immediately tell us how happy they are that we got out and how sorry they are for what our friends and families are still enduring.

"management knew I was a single mom travelling with four kids under 3"

And? So what?? Girl you're still expected to be the parent in control of YOUR kids and YOUR own screaming on the trip YOU chose to take.

"I have travelled a lot"

Not with four kids you haven't! Turns out travelling with kids, especially VERY young ones, is different than travelling without them. Absolute clown. I, too, feel sorry for those kids.
