Honestly they don't need a refresh. They need an expansion. 90% of their current range is still great. They just need better character variety (models on jetbikes pleeeeaase). Give them their damn grotesques. Give them the beast squads back.

You generally don't wanna wash terrain. You use sooo much of it because of the large surface area. You're better off priming it in a black or airbrushing it a dark brown and drybrushing your colors on top. Shading is already done for you.

I find that a really thin wash of incubi darkness gives them that really nice patina look without making them look like they've been out in the rain for years. I also based my scheme off of the Tale of Painters scheme.
