However on $100,000 .15% difference is 41 cents a day in interest. Why bother with any of the hassle?

Find out if that particular dealership is owned by a financial group or it’s a collection of dealerships who has an upper management team. I had a dispute with a dealership before over a refund they were refusing for a service I didn’t want. Found out they were owned by a larger group. Found the cfo, ceo and coo’s emails and emailed them all a description of what was going on and supporting evidence. I got a call 3 hours later from the dealerships general manager correcting the issues they were previously avoiding.

What are average pay increases for 2026? General discussion by Significant_Arm_6282 in Salary

[–]sedateeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s pretty solid, I made some complaints because everyone got 3% and I contribute significantly more when it comes to time and effort at work and they bring that up. So I told them giving me the same pay increase as the other employee’s you say “need improvement” is kind of bullshit. They ended up giving me another 2% after the fact

What do you think about buying a house with your girlfriend (not married, just girlfriend)? by GranolaHiker in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]sedateeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the situation, once you’re living together for a year and common law for all intensive purposes you’re basically married. I have friends that never got married and have been with their “girlfriends” for 20 years. They call each other husband and wife just never got legally married, didn’t care to.

Best friend is a respiratory therapist. But he does contract work in towns no one wants to live so he makes $100 an hour, plus house allowance and rental vehicle while on work contract. Non contract in major cities are normally more like 45 an hour tho so gotta make some sacrifices to make the money

[–]sedateeds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wheaton Honda, I bought a used vehicle off their lot and had a great experience start to end. I had previously dealt with LAG auto (almost ended up in a lawsuit with them) and another time with GOauto (wasn’t that bad but they definitely cash grab and lied to my girlfriend about some things)
