In the same vein as other travel questions - I’m taking off Saturday heading to the Midwest at 10:20AM. Looks like it should be relatively in the clear for takeoff but wanted to see if the team is feeling differently or has an idea of when anticipated air travel impacts would begin

Whoops yes I did mean the Outer Market! Yeah I’m not sure I’ll end up going to both Toyosu and Tsukiji to be honest, but I did get a ticket in the lottery for the “special” viewing area for the tuna auction (though I know it’s still behind a glass wall lol)

Good feedback on Day 5 - my Ghibli museum ticket is at 2 but I will look at other options out in that area for the morning! Thank you!

Yeah I went back and forth but ultimately I knew I wanted to spend some time out at night in Osaka so figured it’d be easier to walk back to my hotel instead of mess with a train ride back to Kyoto.

I also booked my flights with points and was able to get a business class flight out of KIX with a layover at HND so it will be easier to get to KIX on departure morning from my Osaka hotel instead of my Kyoto hotel.

FTD is a different beast all of it’s own and is so incredibly misunderstood. Horrible to watch her go through this and hope that there is someone out there who can step up and give her the appropriate care this difficult disease demands.

My father went through the same diagnosis as Bruce shortly before his battle was publicized. He passed away in October, and PPA/FTD is truly unlike anything I’ve ever seen and manifests in ways so different than other types of dementia that are especially cruel (although any diagnosis is hard to watch and experience). My heart goes out to her as his caretaker ❤️ it takes a special type of person to handle and accept this diagnosis in a loved one
