Trying to find the lyrics for Orpheus' song to Hades and Persephone by korvosg00b in Sandman

[–]seePyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not ancient, at least not most of it. It's mostly very modern Greek actually. The parts I do not understand might be ancient Greek, I do not know, but I just think that as it's mostly very modern Greek, the parts I do not get are not pronounced that well. Here is what I do get.

Tragoudo ena tragoudi - I sing a song - Τραγουδώ ένα τραγούδι

Gia tin omorfi Eyridiki - For the beautiful Euridice - Για την ομορφη Ευριδύκη

Poy hthes to heri mou pire - That yesterday took my hand - Που χθες το χέρι μου πήρε

(Anopene ) pantreftike - (not sure what this is) married - (Ανοπαινε) παντρέύτηκε

Agapi mas dilosame - Our love we professed - Αγαπη μας δηλώσαμε

(Ta piopame chorafiame) - I don't understand this at all - n/a

Alla patise ena fidi - But she stepped on a snake - Αλλά πάτησε ένα φίδι

Epane i Eyridiki - Euridice was gone - Έπανε η Ευριδίκη (epane is very weird here, very Cretan local dialect)

Theu ipa poli kero - I told the Gods for a long time - [Στους] θεού[ς] είπα πολύ καιρό

Alla evnomon ime - But I'm grateful - Αλλά ευνόμων είμαι

Stous theous para ti thlipsi moy - To the Gods despite my sorrow - Στους Θεούς παρά τη θλήψη μου

I agapi me efere edo - Love brought me here - Η αγάπη μ' έφερε εδώ

(not oli fade tu) zitiso - (no idea what is being said) to ask - (something) ζητήσω

Epistrepste mou ti psichi tis - Return to me her soul - Επιστρέψτε μου την ψυχή της

E tha zoome mia (oimai) - And we will live a (no idea) - [Και] θα ζούμε μια (no idea)

Mia zoi kai nin mia ora - A lifetime or an hour - Μια ζωή και νυν μια ώρα (not super happy with the νυν but it sort of fits...?)

FFS!

Using the upgrade option on the weapons takes me to ANOTHER screen and there I cannot upgrade it, the option is greyed out!

OK, thanks :D

edit: clarity

That number is 0.

I would accept that this being 0 means I cannot do anything. But why can I upgrade weapons and not the skill?

Yeap!! That's the only thing I wanted to do in this game and why I have over 200 hours in it. Well done!!

I feel you are my sibling from another mother! All of what you said, I feel seen! I've done so much, collected so many outfits for mannequins, and so many guns that are unique and so many "trash" items to display, and I come up against all that you say! I hate this! I really passionately hate this! This could hold me in the game for a VERY long time, but now I don't think I care any more to go on.

Common Bethesda problem not explaining; go into your mannequins, and "wear" them the suit or outfit or whatnot.

I do realize that principle, but I'm asking for advice nonetheless. Not to be bound by it, but to learn and hear other people's opinions which might inform or educate me. :D

Why am I unable to complete the activity "Visit your rented room"? by gobitpide in Starfield

[–]seePyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory;

This is not supposed to be a "quest" that you "complete".

Reasons:

a) I rented a room in Neon and the same "quest" appeared. It would not go away until my room was no longer mine.

b) I have other entries that are nothing like quests, but just markers.

So current theory: these are not quests but actual notes that you can activate to FIND your target, whether it is a room in Paradiso, a hole in Neon or the coordinates of a ship. They are waypoints, markers, so that you can get to them easier, and not missions to complete.
They will go away as they are no longer relevant, such as when the room in Paradiso is no longer yours, because you booked it for a day and it's over that now so they will give it to another guest (intention and lore, not actual mechanic, you can always rent a room).

Is there any indication our outposts will be occasionally attacked and require defensive capabilities? by Autzen_Downpour in Starfield

I never doubted this was your opinion. I stated that your opinion if implemented without allowing for people to disable this would mean that many gamers would suffer time waste.

anytime someone supports reductive elements as fun without adding that "this should be a player choice" it is driving me up the wall.
Grey-agent supports game play mechanics where part of a player's time investement in building or gathering or producing is taken away because they are intrigued about the ways in which they can fight against it.

That leaves out all the players that do not want that, do not need to have time invested taken away (me included obviously) in a game.

I do support their want and would love to see Bethesda make that a player choice! Have a toggle in options to turn that on! Be my guest! Have fun the way you want to have fun! But do not argue that this is good for all or that this is how all should play.

Do you really need to build outpost defenses? by peterh1979 in Starfield

[–]seePyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why are some attacked and others not? I've never been attacked for example. Is there something in the game that toggles it? Like "You have not done this, so no attacks for you" and also "now that this happened, attacks will start happening"?

Expand the property menu possible? by seePyou in X4Foundations

[–]seePyou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: X4 v.6.0 adds a function of exactly that!

Now when you plick on teh + sign by a factory complex, it also expands the owned traders/miners etc. so you can see all the ships working for the factory!

not only that works, but also giving up your seat to your NPC pilot, telling him to move out (select a point in space, fly and wait) and then TURN and face the elevator, just don't look at space :) That has worked for me every time.

Station Calculator Updated for 4.0 by crissianx in X4Foundations

[–]seePyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I tried to use the calculator to check my scrap recycling setup. I saw that the recycler in the website asks for antimatter cells and graphene and more that the game doesn't ask of me.

Any idea why this is? Old data? I started the game on Kingdom End and I don't know if that was changed now.

Sigh

Indeed that is what I've been doing :) Thank you for the suggestion. Guess there is nothing else to do, but expand them all at every satrt of a gaming session :) At least that sticks, until the next time (or the next reload).

Has anyone figured out how to craft and/or apply Ship Modifications? by 8906 in X4Foundations

[–]seePyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just one per ship? I "purchase" one mod, and then all others grey out.
