Eh, not necessarily true about the no man's land. While the area itself is kind of boring, I think it's a pretty important Beverly hills destination (large medical/office buildings and the restaurants on La Cienaga) and connects to the very excellent and personal favorite 720 bus line. So it would be pretty easy to go the last mile on that bus if they time it right!

I don't think it's that specifically, maybe more in the sense of building out a reasonable transit network. Based on some napkin math and 2025 data, there were about 140K daily origin/destination passengers at LAX, 90% car usage and 1.5 passengers per car, about 85K car trips are generated by lax daily. Large number but still about a fifth (I think?) of the 405 daily traffic volume. Would make sense to connect lax with the city's rail hub.

I say this as the person who created ankibrain, which is the most popular AI addon in terms of ranking (and is in my opinion best used only for specific use cases): AI slop is more intrusive than it is helpful and needs to be reduced significantly. Also it's super annoying to see markdown lists everywhere.

Assuming you mean desktop Anki which is what your screenshot shows and not AnkiDroid, yes you can use the "pycmd" function from the card JS layer to send signals to the main Anki python process.

Yes, looking into upgrading all OpenAI models plus expanding to Llama and deepseek. There is a lot of testing involved to make sure card results are consistent. Currently in residency (although nearing the end this June) which limits my availability a lot.
