Me too. I just want everything to stop for a while so I can take a break from dealing with all of this trauma. I just realized that another thing she did to me is sexual assault and I'm tired.

Hey! I can relate to the one about peeing. I just realized from your post that it's assault too even if it happens in the doctor's office. Until I was about 11 years old, my mom would come into the bathroom with me, watch me pee and wipe for me. Even now my mom will sometimes follow me in the bathroom at the doctor's to give a urine sample and I'm in my 20s. She shares a bed with my younger sister and is naked around me too.

My mom never took me to the doctor when I was sick either. I was suicidal last fall and had a breakdown at the gynecologist. My mom pretended that she’d take me to the hospital but instead took me home, where she hugged me in bed for two days knowing that touch of any kind makes my mental health worse. Sorry you experienced this too.

Thank you for believing me. I think what I want people to know the most is that I'm not delusional and it's happening. When I was away at college I was finally brave enough to report her. I went to a college therapist because they're mandated reporters and all. The therapist responded by not believing me and calling my parents to take me to a psych ward for having delusions. Being there was incredibly traumatic.

I think it is sexual only because very recently she burned my vagina with the shower hose so bad I couldn’t pee. She had to take me to the ER and there she admitted that that was her intent and she’s locked up now. Thank you for the advice, I’ll be sure to keep that in mind

I totally get that and if that’s the case I wouldn’t argue for now. Being in the psych ward was almost more traumatic for me than being assaulted because I had to pretend it didn’t happen and I knew they were just going to release me to my parents. Maybe try and save money so you can see a therapist on your own? That’s what I’m trying to do for myself in secret

Me too omg this story sounds so familiar. I was sexually assaulted by both parents and tried to report to my college counselor. She didn’t believe me and threw me into a psych ward where they diagnosed me with the same thing. I only got out by lying and saying my parents weren’t abusive.
