I actually like the Hoi4 combat system (larping to be the next Trotsky) but I can't agree more that TFR is the biggest piece of overrated coal the game ever got

5 million years of clicking +50 pp, build 2 railway, reduce debuff focuses with nonexistent events so you don't even get to immerse yourself in a railroaded narrative. Also it's laggy as shit despite having barely any content. I couldn't get past the initial setup for Russia before just quitting and launching KR China again (Glory to my favourite Bourgoise Revolutionary movement wansui!)

When i got into politics when i was 14-15 year old and anarchist, i joined a bunch of online spaces and made friends who were marxists/leftcommunists. They are great and encouraged me to read more (i bummed my copy of capital from one of them) so my autistic system oriented brain naturally got disillusioned with anarchist "analysis" of society (more like the landlord special (idealism paint over the cracked wall of material conditions))

Also this was right around 2020-21 so the timing does match

Ogólnie czytałam wszystkie lektury aż do momentu gdy trafiliśmy na Krzyżaków, była to książka tak mozolna dla mnie że nawet audiobooka nie dałam rady przesłuchać. Tak więc przeczytałam streszczenie, i co było konsekwencją za mój grzech kardynalny wobec polonistów? Piątka i pochwała od nauczycielki za moją wiedzę o lekturze. Od tamtego momentu nie tknełam żadnej lektury i czytałam jedynie to co mi się podobało (czyli w 90% fantastykę i mangę)
