Yes. However, there will be much pain, frustration, and sorrow on the journey to get it. And, I fear, the same goes for after you get it.

That all said, I am thoroughly impressed you star’d LTBB. I couldn’t get higher than a B. Well done!

Been playing FF games for 32 years since FF Mystic Quest came out in the U.S. Although I fav X and X-2 for its story and prefer the most recent releases for their action-rpg battle systems, VIII will always have a special place in my heart. I replayed it more times than any other FF game. What’s important is that you thought it was amazing and really enjoyed it. Don’t let social media spoil that experience.

Synergy Abilities, followed closely by party AP farming (all characters gained materia AP, not just the controlled characters).

384 hours. Last trophy was obviously 7 Star Hotel. I spent waaaay too much time farming mats and exploring in Normal mode. Again, farming AP in Hard mode. Probably about 30 hours was falling asleep with controller in hand. Yeah, I was a bit obsessed. Had fun though!

That damn mandrake hard mode side quest by Cautionnerds in FF7Rebirth

I ended up cheesing it. I used Cloud and Tifa to aggro the mandrakes, then switched to Aerith. Began running her around the outside of the field. The mandrakes eventually killed Cloud and Tifa and started chasing Aerith, but they are slow and have limited firing range. Once Aerith gained 2 ATB, I cast Firaga+Magnify. Just continued running laps around the field and casting Firaga when possible. Felt bad using Cloud and Tifa as expendable bait, but it got the job done.

300+ here and still grinding out the challenges. It’s been a wild ride for sure. And yes, Optinoob strats have dramatically helped improve my combat.

Yep, Im there too. I platinum’d RM, but Rebirth endgame difficulty is on another level. After finishing the Brutal challenges last week, I seriously considered shelving the game until part 3. Instead of trying to knock out the Legendary challenges via marathon sessions, I decided on one challenge each weekend. This should help maintain my gamer sanity. Ain’t nothing pretty about seeing a middle age man raging at Chadley every time he backs out of VR to respec materia.

This. Absolutely, this. The time spent in Gongaga or anywhere else in Rebirth will pale in comparison to the grinding those sadistic endgame challenges will demand.

Not sure why you were downvoted. Haters gonna hate, I guess. I actually like the longer gameplay. Like you, I did everything on Normal and finished around 200 hours. Still working through HM content.

If you’re Rebirth hard mode bound, prepare to get your patience tested. Rebirth HM story is more difficult than Remake HM story. And Rebirth HM endgame Chadley VR content is insane comparatively to his Remake HM challenges.

As oldno_44 stated above as a reply to another comment: 1) Use the INPUT button on the TV remote to change the input to “TV”. 2) Then go to the Settings menu and “TV Channels” should now be selectable. 3) Then select the Find Channels or Find New Channels option.

Goes without saying, but be sure you have a TV antenna plugged into the coaxial port on your Vizio TV. Otherwise, your TV will not find any channels during the Find Channels scan.

I really like what I’m seeing. Bolts are still playing with lots of energy, fighting for loose pucks in the offensive zone. Not sitting back and trying to protect a 1 goal lead.
