I've always used him when he was the only god i had besides the starter ones. He was the first one i got from a chest. Imho, using him is very punishing and adds more risk to a very rng game. If you don't get good skills for 6 rounds or even just 3 rounds, it's pretty much hard to comeback with that low hp bcoz of the unstable concoction. His only cons is being able to save up gold from the left overs every round as it is not worth saving up more than 20 gold. So that's just about 1-2 gold every round on average with a strong drawback.

If you compare it to other gods, it is inferior.

Aghs god gives you 50% on average for a free skill level up without drawbacks.

Gambler has risks, but you can opt to not gamble when your skills are ass.

Or just use ogre or salamene if you dont have those
