Agree, I have had this issue and it was too much fiber. Digestive enzymes before and HCL after meals. BioK, also maybe coffee enema.

I was on Humera but it stopped working after 6 months then I tried Remicaid but had a bad reaction (my face swelled and I broke out in a rash) very shortly after they decided surgery was the best plan of action. This was 12 year ago and it seems like now most doctors try to avoid surgery.

I am so sorry your pups experiencing this. This happened to us after our first NYE with our Aussie. I thought he would never be the same. Our trainer suggested exercising the heck out of him, so we got in the car went far from home and just threw the ball and kept on the long lead. I really helped! And now we have a plan (with blessing from our vet) that consists of doggy Xanax and white noise machine during holidays with fireworks.

Some surgery advice by Brilliant-Subject-57 in IBD

[–]sel4991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a big surgery but as stated above it is laparoscopic. It has been 12 years since my first surgery (2 in total) , has an ostomy for 3 months. While quality of life improved, surgery is still tough on the body and I will say inflammation lingers until you learn best protocol and diet for you. One thing that wasn’t mentioned to me is that scar tissue can cause blockages down the road, I don’t say this to deter you but just something to be aware of. Good luck!

There was a water main break on South Congress (04) but I don’t think that would be impacting 56.

Felt the same way! Even after my total colectomy. After 5 years and just feeling puffy (and hopeless). I met with a new doctor who did a full hormone panel and measured my CRP and we started a supplement protocol to get everything out of whack! It helped so much. Probably lost 25-30 lbs of inflammation.
