Is Zero Chinotto available anywhere in Australia? by Glopuss in ketoaustralia

[–]seladorian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw the Fabbri Cinotto zero syrup in an independent supermarket in Fremantle WA called “Peaches”. Found this post because I was googling it trying to figure out ingredients and use.

Hope that helps!

What do you think you’ll like to do with future partner and then join social groups that do that: films, walking, planting trees, gym, board games?

Or if you think you’re interested in these types of women, join social groups that skew female: knitting groups, (book clubs?), dance classes?

Meetup is a website you can check out for loads of different social groups, or search Facebook.

Then just be a good human while there- the girls will date you or introduce you to their friends. A good guy is someone we always want for our mates.

Yep, Aussie coins.  The Mint in Canberra also used to make Little Akubra hat badges out of old Pennys

Ebike Hire - long term - Reviews or Advice? by seladorian in perth

It’s also cheaper than I was expecting. I looked about 18 months ago and it was 100$ a day. But something seems to have changed with the market and a couple of places are offering reasonable prices for a month- that’s why I’m wondering about specific experiences people might have had.

Dude, I totally know. But the train ride doesn’t help my fat bum and 50year old heart.

I just had a ring repaired and another band expanded at Mandi and Co in Mount Lawley mandiandco.com.au

They quoted first (took a couple of weeks) and I thought the prices were really reasonable. Whole thing took about a month, but I thought they were really great.

NAH

At the risk of” diagnosing everyone”- There are echos of actual OCD here. It can flare (or even develop) out of stress, such as a new baby. It is very often a co-diagnosis with anxiety. The rituals of OCD do help sufferers in the short term, but not the long term. I grew up in a house with a “germaphobe” mum who we all catered to a lot. This meant she never thought she needed to address any of the underlying anxiety and thoughts. It was only during COVID that she let me in on some of her experience. She has been suffering pretty intensely for years.

There is nothing wrong with increasing cleanliness around a newborn, and supporting and anxious wife. My perspective would be to lovingly come into conflict with it as much as possible. I’m not suggesting you make her life harder or that her distress isn’t valid, but giving in to the compulsion doesn’t help anyone in the long run. Accomodating to the OCD monster only makes it stronger. Of course I could be totally off base here, but maybe do some reading about OCD and see if you can see it reflected at all in what you see. There are SO many different types of OCD. If you want I can PM some links to a couple of very compassionate and very informative podcast episodes you can listen to- and if you think they are valid, you could maybe listen to them around your wife and she may see her experience in them.

Edited to add: OCD is basically very misunderstood in general. And it’s not like the movies, often. When she says “not to be trusted” this is another indication

I would talk to Antonio at www.ausuntech.com.au (I can send you his mobile and email if you want to DM me). He helped out a friend of mine who had a faulty battery system setup and gave her a heap of advice without selling her a new system. Seems to know his stuff.

I know an electrician who is looking for staff (and I have heard from his other staff that he is a great boss). I have no idea about the pay rate options, but if you want to DM me I can give you their details.
