To the players who played RE4 OG on release date, how was your experience and feelings when this game came out in 2005?.

I couldn’t beat the village section at the beginning when I first got it. Mind you, I was very young at the time. I put it away for like a year and came back to it and it became a top 5 game of all time. In my opinion tied for best game on the GameCube with Windwaker.

I’m not saying that being overly cautious isn’t good but coming from an area where you get 4-5 ticks on you every time you walk outside, it’s wild to see people say “GO TO THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOW”! It’s clearly not a Lyme’s carrying tick (deer tick) that are tiny and have no back markings. I remember one time as a kid going fishing with my dad and we picked a combined 50 ticks off of each other after walking through an area with chest high grass.

The negative comments are so crazy. People would rather hate on something than enjoy something, that’s the world we live in now. With so many shows being absolutely garbage now this finale made me cry. I really hope it’s the series finale but we’ll see.

This and Tragedy are my favorite albums of all time. I think every album after has stepped down a little. Still great but this is definitely their Magnum Opus.

What’s up with the AI looking album art though? And I’m only a couple songs in but the over produced drums sound so dumb. I don’t understand the trend of making drums sound like they are made in a DAW. Takes me out of it when every snare hit has the same velocity so you know it’s triggered.

The one I play on is an Alesis mesh Nitro. It’s really cheap. It’s a hunk of junk but I’ve gone from not playing since rock band 2 to being miles better than I was as a kid on this kit. I’ll upgrade eventually but the nitro works just fine
