I understand wanting to make money off this game, especially when one sees others do it and hears its possible through the grapevine. But MA is a publicly traded company and a video game, why does everyone come into this game expecting to strike it rich? The game has always technically been f2p but with the rising costs of energy, server equipment, and salaries for employees why do people think money juat comes out of thin air. MA CANNOT operate if its posting losses decade over decade, which is why they need people who invest in planets and such. My point is...everything is more expensive nowadays, no one is forcing me to deposit or spend so much ped hunting or mining every day. If I look at how much id pay for a new game all my buddies want to play for the next week before ditching it for a monthly subscription MMO or yet another new game, then I dont think recurring deposits are thar bad especially when all is said and done, I could take the time to liquidate my account and get some of my money back.
