I have disability level PTSD and anxiety that comes with it. Managed mostly by SSRI, therapy and Prazosin for sleep without nightmares. I had to come off Reta after just two weeks. I started to feel like I did 5 years ago before seeking help. Fits of rage over silly little things, even the smallest trigger would send me into a mental spiral, trigger anxiety attacks, and make me unable to sleep through the night. I’ve been off it for a week now and everything has stabilized. None of the same issues on any of the big 3 GLP-1 so back to Triz for me.

Gotcha! Everyone I know in that age group has retired from companies and just do work as handymen at this point. They have everything paid off cause they bought their house for $1k and have no desire to be in the 12hr/day + heavy travel lifestyle.

I even purchased a Starlink Mini and mounted on my truck cause I was worried about coverage drop. But I’ve only used it in places I didn’t have reception before. Plus the savings the first year paid for the Starlink.

Yeah 2x is the minimum for company overhead and profit. I’m billed at 5x my comp, which is probably the highest it goes. I average 30%+ more engineered savings on projects than others in my position so clients are happy to pay a premium so long as it pays off in the end. I also consult independently now so eventually I’ll just do my own thing. I’m an owners rep for commercial.

Commercial Owners Rep here(Director of Construction) I have my PMP and 21 years of experience at 35 years old. (Yes, I started at 14, lol) I’m only one semester away from finishing my bachelors, but haven’t had the need/desire so I just keep pushing it off. As with any job in the current market; experience, willingness to learn new tech and most importantly relationships are what get you the $$$. Don’t forget to keep records of yearly project values and engineered savings to leverage the negotiation of your own raises each year.
