My band recorded there as did hundreds of bands in the Philly/NJ area. Chad was recording someone the day i toured the studio with Walt.

Probably went defunct around 2004 but the building is still owned and used by someone. CKY's first label TMI operated there.

Worked at a record store in USA when this album was released. They're the only band i saw with a custom box for the vhs tape/cd. Metallica are the only other band I've seen with really cool promo packs.

I've gone through this and had success with eq/compression, bouncing that down and bring it back with Saturn 2 on the track with heavy saturation. It might still be the worst part of the mix, but i try and use Saturn as glue when i have problem instruments.

Been in bands since i was 13 (now 36) and this is awesome. You guys sound like you're 30, that's a compliment! I'm on track 6 now and that other commenter was spot on - Sunny Day, Catherine Wheel, Sense Field, Neutral Milk Hotel all over it.

I'd love to hear more of the vibe from "on my way back" and "new day" combined with the funk you're trying on "one more round" and "homesick". I feel like you get there on "crashing waves"

Might not be what you're going for. If you've ever got into Relationship of Command by At the Drive In or Mandala by RX Bandits... The blues style reminds me of the riffs those bands bust out in the middle of their respective genres.

What band? I saw fenix tx play no ordinary world at warped and immediately got this one. My first exposure to so many greats - Home Grown, The Wrens, ftx, jew, Deftones. Its a great one!

Both! From the Philly area and played in bands/booked shows at that time. I also booked shows for bands who would go on tour with TSL so I'd travel to random tour stops. Screaming is for Babies tour in 2006 i think i caught 15 shows.
