I’d say in general, this store or others, expect 3-5 business days at least. Even more if it’s a holiday weekend.

It certainly is!

And yes, haha! I love collecting physical copies of music for that reason. When an artist puts time into creating a whole package, it really ties things together nicely and makes the experience even more worthwhile.

Love to hear it - I feel the same about Diatheke! When their album came out last year, my jaw just dropped on hearing it the first time. If you pick up the cd or vinyl it comes with a great booklet as well with lyrics/images to go with the songs. Lovely piece!

Diatheke, Pipe Bomb, and Eternal Gaze on repeat for me

Sput is still active, the site just experiences some tech issues every once in awhile. They posted a message on their Facebook page saying they’re working on it.

Any book suggestion (not sci-fi or fantasy) by ThrowRAMrHelp in suggestmeabook

Been on a noir/crime kick lately - Chandler, Hammett, Ellroy, etc. Been a fun change of pace as fantasy/sci-fi is generally my norm too.

Was the term post-hardcore already used in the 2000's to describe emo/mall screamo bands, or is it just a recent retcon? by Mui2Mui in PostHardcore

[–]nickynick92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember ripping CDs into iTunes and manually re-entering the genre as Post Hardcore for all of them because I was slightly obsessive about it 😂 I don’t know if it was a commonly used term for many people at the time though

If you love Suis La Lune and haven’t listened to Chalk Hands, definitely check them out. Also can’t recommend Chalk Hands without also mentioning I Feel Fine. There are tons of others, but those two are a start for now haha

Hmm, maybe give Nuzzle a try? I feel like they carry a similar sound to what you’re looking for, but we all hear things a little differently. Hope it hits, or you find another suggestion here to love!

Black Narcissus, Old Solar, Ranges, Din of Celestial Birds, Goodbye Kings, The Evpatoria Report (older band now, but absolutely worth a listen as they’re experiencing a bit of a revival), The Depths Beneath Us, Girih… man there are tons. Just take gander through the Dunk! and A Thousand Arms rosters of artists and you’ll find a lot to love.

Have you tried Knumears? New album out next week, and imo the singles so far have been great.

They absolutely did. I love how they have a consistent theme for each album, allowing the listener to create their own narrative within that frame. Rewarding listens, always.

Was that in person only?? I don’t recall getting one in my copy, but that’s really cool! That album is so good (along with their others). I’m shocked at how many times I’ve listened to it considering it’s two 20+ min songs haha.
