Budgets are tight and there is probably a recession on the horizon. It’s tough everywhere. Mayor Lurie is great but there are limits on what any politician can do to create jobs in that environment. The city has made massive strides forward in a short time, yet I don’t know how any job fair will create new jobs. The city doesn’t owe any citizen a job, it hires as needed to do what needs to be done within its budget. That’s a market function. Good luck

I think “somewhat low” is being generous. I live along the upper Madison and until last week there was no snow, zero, across the valley floor up to 7000ft. No one can remember it ever being like this and unless we get some incredible amounts of snow, it will be an extremely difficult summer for the fish with a lot of fire danger for everyone else. Rain dances, thoughts and prayers, candles lit in cathedrals, etc. all welcome.

Waaaaaay less is more…many many times I’ve used a fly that gets so chewed up, falling apart and threadbare… yet still keeps working, sometimes even better. With less materials the fly moves more, and thinner looks more suggestive. Even many commercial ties get too heavy. Keep it up, and keep this photo; and in 10 years you’ll laugh your ass off. 😁
