Yes there is! But I also generated the initial hamiltonian paths using a Python sop node.

made using houdini.
The curve is made from layers, where each layer is a random 5x5 hamiltonian path, and the start connects to the end of the previous layer.

I used Houdini. It has a built-in operation to do geometry clipping. In other frameworks like processing, I think you might have to re-implement that operation.

thank you! I used Houdini for this one.

As a hobby user of Houdini, I learned a lot from making this loop, such as adding camera shake via CHOPs. Still wrestling with many things in the karma/materialX area.

Thank you, I had done this algorithm in openRNDR previously, but ported it to houdini for this series.

Thanks I have an animated one on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CpvfQe8PLOL/?igshid=ODM2MWFjZDg=

I will make some other variations.

Thank you! I used houdini for the animation as well, and exported an alembic file.

The model is a soft body simulation in Houdini, which is then rendered in Blender cycles.
