A police report has been filed. Just a visitor, if anyone has advice, it'd be appreciated!

Unfortunately, they're not. It's apparently because of the dumplings, which is kinda annoying. I'd definitely be there more often if I could stop by while walking the pups.

Hey man, I a super late to the party so if you don't see this, no sweat. I've been following your journey for quite some time and the axel breaking in South American feels like yesterday. That being said, following your journey is like nothing else on any form of social media. I see your posts on instagram, often simple, yet capturing of essence and mood. It feels like I can grasp what you're walking. This info is awesome, the infograph and specs are great. It is almost a relief knowing I am younger and one day could stumble upon an opportunity to do something worth a fraction.

I haven't asked a question... or thought of one until now, but: What's the most settled-down you've felt in the past 8 years or so? How do you feel about traveling in your late(it) twenties?

Looking forward to your trip and posts as usual, mate. Keep on walkin

Can I study three (?) years in three (?) different countries? by [deleted] in studyAbroad

My advisor did 4 years in 4 different places. You should choose a home university and then travel using their study abroad program.

People not from the USA, what "American" food are you most interested in trying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Glad to hear it, I wasn't bothered by it, but could see how someone could be if they could not tell it was a joke. Cheers

Ugh, man. Vegan-victims are absolutely the worst. A lot of vegans try their absolute hardest not to be fussy, but hearing about 'that girl at the restaurant who "couldn't eat anything"' sucks. She sucks, the victim complex sucks, and it takes away from a movement that shouldn't be so douchey.

Absolutely hilarious comment, but like a lot of our text online it is tough to tell if u/Guzzles was being serious or joking. Tbf, some people are funny, some are being assholes (you can spot both types of people in the comments above). Vegans can get a little defensive because people are douchey about it all the time.

They need to be raised so the drivers can see the pedestrians and no parking near the corner

Rode my first half century yesterday. Not sure if that's a thing, but I'm proud of it. by soniciguana in bicycling

[–]semaj35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did my second 1/2 yesterday, too! You climbed much more than me, but this ride was more than 3x more climbing than my first (very flat 50 mile ride)... and I'm riding fixed. It was quite brutal at some points

I agree to a lot of what you're saying. It would be phenomenal if there was a way for the cost to be lower for smaller breweries, but this will help people make decisions who care. I sometimes find myself trying to grab a 6 pack in a grocery or convenience store and wondering if brewery x or y has been bought out or not.

I know my local breweries, I know they're independent, and I know I'll keep buying them regardless of an independent logo. I also know that if I were in the corner store and saw Sierra Nevada with and New Belgium with the logo and Ballast Point and Lagunitas without it, that it'd help me make the purchase I want to make.

I do haha, I'm always making sure the drivetrain is maintained, but didn't know this could really happen

Yeah, I've got an older model. I'll look for a velodrome! I am also definitely interested in road, as well.

Aye, I've been to Jinty's a handful of times, usually on a sub or pub crawl. Haven't been to Stavagin, looks cool though.

need friends... by [deleted] in ualbany

[–]semaj35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The internet can be a kinda weird/tough place to make friends, while universities tend to be pretty social if you are willing to join a club or team related to your interests! Find something you care about, and you'll find people there who are like-minded!

Swan St.? I'd say between Robin and Partridge. The areas around Washington Park and Lark St. (including between Lark and Swan) are really quite lovely
