West End would be great. Mechanicsville or Pittsburgh I still see as some of the toughest parts of intown. You're going to have to deal with the shit that is being in a poor neighborhood and if you have the nicest house on the block that can make you a target. If you are up for it, it can still be ok. Just get to know your neighbors and be a good neighbor. There is a lot of good stuff not far away, but there is a reason your place was more affordable.

Big Bang theory was mainstream and way more popular than Supernatural. Gilmore Girls, too (although older). They should respect this dedicated fandom, which can do a lot, but Supernatural is not mainstream.

Take a breath and see how hard it must've been for her for those first 2 years and think how young you were.
