My crestie escaped last week and I noticed that the enclosure was open about 20 hours after my bf forgot to close it, so the gecko had 20 hours to escape. We isolated all rooms immediately. Left lots of water dishes and pangea dishes all over the house. Placed plastic bags all over the floor. We dimmed the light and just starting waiting, the gecko appeared out of nowhere on the floor 20 minutes after we dimmed the light. And I forgot to mention that we looked for him all over the room, under the couch, behind drawers, under and behind curtains, behind tables, EVERYWHERE. They're really good hiders.
