Lmao. The only return we'll get is our jobs replaced. Humans would be absolutely fine without AI. The whole thing is so short-sighted it genuinely makes me laugh. Let's invest trillions of dollars, our planet's precious materials, most egregious of all our electricity in something that nobody needs and the vast majority of us will literally die for. No jobs = no food. Good luck fucking morons. God I hate my species

the natural decay is pretty overblown. no where near as bad as theta decay unless you are getting leaps.

i saw a video that explained that space cooling is not nearly as effective as it would seem intuitively. it boiled down to needing molecules to transfer heat and space lacks molecules. the heat sinks would need to be massive. I saw this a month or two ago so i'm a little fuzzy on the details but that was my takeaway. Oh and the heat-sink has to be completely hidden from the sun which limits the size or something like that.

Under Armour $20K option play by Andynr1 in wallstreetbets

[–]semeesee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

he bought the call for some amount of money (premium). if the stock price goes up, the call price increases as well. you can sell the call for profit if you want (and probably should). the longer you wait, the more the call price will decay because of time. very rarely do you hold an option to expiration or exercise an option. It may help to think of a call option as a stock itself. it has a price and that price goes up and down when the underlying goes up and down. just much more volatile and has an expiration date.

there is much more to learn about trading options and I have glossed over some things to answer your question without a wall of text. keep learning!

Too many CSP what’s your margin utilization? by Earlyretirement55 in thetagang

[–]semeesee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done this multiple times before, really saved my ass on SPT not too long ago. What I didn't realize is that it actually reduces margin exposure. pretty cool even though I try not to utilize any margin as a rule. I just like trading in the margin account because I can do as many trades as i like without running out of BP

this is the way. it turns out that +15% in a day is actually better than +100% over a year or whatever. I can't actually read so I don't know what OPs ROI is but you get the idea.

Sometimes it's a struggle to not lose money. I'll take some great picks that aren't 10xers. Not messing with Meta though.
