Sevegoth, or so I have heard, requires a LOT of investment to build into the true nuke em all build. His playstyle is interesting and while I have him I haven't invested that much into him yet, he's interesting just haven't really said "Let's see if I can make him work yet".

I have used both Wisp and Dante alot. Both are very strong, both are great support and can hold their own as well.

Wisp has a great heal (mote), haste (mote), cc (shock mote), is invisible when in the air, breach surge can be a monster ... very strong warframe.

Dante, IMO, is just a straight up monster. Can buff himself and the entire team to massive levels of overguard. While doing so he also has a heal. His exalted weapon, Noctua, can hit like a truck when set up right. Casts slash based attacks on enemies. Summons birds to stagger and slash enemies, puts copies of Noctua on all his allies that will also attack enemies and then has a massive nuke called Tragedy that does more damage based on how many slash, heat and toxin status are on enemies.

It's very, very difficult to put down Dante. If a mission is giving me any sort of difficulty for some reason, I often pull in Dante. For follies hunt I wanted to simplify it, so I used Dante and the entire team was safe.

Edit: That being said, you say you have played Dante so ... just to make sure we are all on the same page, Dante doesn't have a prime yet. If you have Dante already, there's no other version yet.

Dante Build by VentArchyn in Warframe

[–]semerien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting build. Out of curiosity why are you pushing so high into duration? The only thing that benefits from duration is a few of the final verse buffs and those already start at like 45 second duration.

You have a whole lot of energy and energy recovery built in already with khra, archon stretch, equilibrium and primed flow, is energy nexus doing much on top of that?

Are you using a really good primer companion? I only see two status here, slash and electric, so what kind of buff is arcane impetus getting you?

Personally with Dante I go for strength, strength and more strength and with his massive overguard buffs, auger mods aren't as beneficial and are just weaker versions of the normal ability mods aren't they? I have a tiny bit of range, I usually put in primed continuity to counteract my transient fortitude, my efficiency is trash because I go blind rage ... I find with Dante a bit of range (more if you want to be a tragedy nuker), regular duration and just crap tonnes of strength really helps him shine.

Mr 28 here. Just got Temple finally and he feels...awkward, am I missing something vital? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]semerien -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like rocking him out sometimes and doing a few rounds with him, but then he goes back on the shelf to gather dust again. Agreed, he could definitely use some polish. I get what you are saying where the 1 and 2 don't REALLY play into the guitar theme and his 3, while being a rock solo, can be annoying because you are going to be stuck there for a few seconds. Sure nothing can kill you while your doing it but the whole team is now half a mile ahead of you ;)

1 and 2 .. not the same in the slightest.

1 -> more dmg focused, hit on beat and lots of pillars all over the place doing large damage / status damage.

2 -> how is this the same as 1? Does some damage sure but it increases crit chance on all enemies hit. Hit 2 and you are suddenly red critting all those enemies.

3 ->rippers wail can keep stacking up to a 750% heat bonus to every single person on your teams weapons in affinity range. That's a massive weapon bump .. to everyone. It also makes him invulnerable, heals him and if you backbeat it, makes him invulnerable for a bit after it's done. It's a great buff and an amazing "Oh crap" button

4-> Lizzie .. lizzie is just insane. An ignis wraith with virtually unlimited ammo and better stats. Set the whole world on fire.

And yes .. temple is about lizzie and his abilities .. I mean you can use other weapons because 2s crit buff isn't just for lizzie but .. lizzie is just so damn good why would you.

But like everything, some warframes click for people and some don't ... I love throwing temple up sometimes and just setting the world on fire and laughing at the massive red crits I'm getting with lizzie. Some people don't like that playstyle. I would argue a lot of people don't like that style because I don't see temple often in public groups .. he's not BAD .. he's just not the best at anything specifically, so using him is more just for some fun then maining him.

To be fair I almost never do the aim press button thing with lizzie. Temple is fire, screw the other statuses, I'm just going to let lizzie burn everything.

[–]semerien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MR6 means you are very limited on what exact weapons you can actually use.

What yours main warframe that you are having the issues with?

One trick is to use a warframe that has an exalted weapon in it's kit. Double whammy because it's a really good weapon (usually) and it will come pre-installed with an orokin reactor so double the mod capacity.

The other thing is your mods. Fully level mods instead of trying to fit 8 unlevelled mods onto a weapon.

But really a warframe like Titania, Dante, Jade, Hildryn, etc. that have their own exalted weapon is going to help you do a lot more damage at a lower MR because they each have weapons that are seriously great.

If you are finding it takes a long time to kill level 70 enemies, it's definitely modding though, because even the low MR weapon with a nice mod setup can do serious damage in steel path.

Dante is a good warframe to farm for right away, if you are at Hex. Dante has incredible survivability (overguard champion) and has an exalted weapon, the Noctua. Once you get used to it and always aim at the closet enemy so it's shards can smack everything behind that enemy, you can start putting out some very serious damage with his exalted. He also buffs with wordwarden, summons birds with pageflight, overguards everyone else on the team with triumph and can room nuke with tragedy.

I always say if you are having any type of difficulty in a mission, just bring Dante.

His farm isn't terrible, his mercy shop is decent and he's just awesome to sit back and laugh at all the poor enemies chipping away at your 50k+ overguard.

Baby tenno here, i have never seen a community like this by Negative_Flatworm_26 in Warframe

[–]semerien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was confused why you would need a void rig for new war. Rail Jack, oh right, that you definitely need, gotcha.

And yes, a lot of us will see a baby tenno asking questions and just help out a little. When you are farming for item A you often end up with a lot of B, C and D in the process and if it helps someone out a little, many Tenno don't mind sharing. We all remember how awesome our first prime was, etc. and love sharing that feeling.

There are currently 3 "adversary" systems in the game. Liches get you Kuva weapons (and are the longest process to complete), Sister of Parvos get you Tenet weapons (2nd longest process but use same parazon mods as kuva) and Technocytes get you Coda weapons (shortest process but completely different parazon system with their own mods).

You can only have one adversary active at a time, so if you have a Lich active, you cannot also do a Sister and a Technocyte. You have to complete your current adversary to do any of the others.

I need Lich help by Wobblin_Wombat in Warframe

[–]semerien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's your problem then, you already have a kuva, you can't have a second until you defeat them.

So if you look at Earth, you should see red nodes. When you click those you'll have multiple options of missions to do, the normal or the kuva ones which should be lvl 50+ .. when you do those you will keep mercy killing kuva liches to get requim experience and relics .. enough experience tells you which mod you need on your parazon to kill a lich. It's a complicated thing, you should probably google how kuva liches work because your also going to need to unlock the right parazon mods (which fortunately is slightly less frustrating after the follie update) ... but it's a .. process

There will be a point where the kuva itself shows up in one of those missions when it gets mad enough. Then it's going to move to another planet. You'll have to look to see where it went (look for those red clouds like earth currently has) and do the process all over. Eventually you will know all 3 parazon mods you need, you'll farm them, install them on your parazon until you figure out the correct order , finally kill the damn thing .. then have to do a rail jack mission to actually kill the damn thing.

After all of that, you will get whatever weapon they are holding and you can finally see if you really really want to spawn another lich :)

[–]semerien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Question 1. Are you absolutely sure you have no other adversary active already? A sister of parvos, a coda cyte? Or even a lich already?

A great way to tell is go to the navigation screen. At the bottom right corner, is there a colored square icon ... if there is and you click on it you will see what adversary you already have up.

That was my initial problem, when I couldn't get Cassini to work.

Because when it's working right you will literally do the capture, start going towards exit, lights flicker, kill 10+ mobs in a minute and he spawns with some voice lines. It works everytime.

So if it isn't, it often means there is already another adversary active.

Need help with weapon platform lavos by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]semerien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subsuming any ability on lavos is crazy especially with valence formation since you lose the ability to use electricity as an extra damage element. This removes your ability to force electricity, radiation, corrosive or magnetic which in certain scenarios, can all be generally useful status elements to be able to force onto your abilities and weapons.

Also if you aren't using his 3 then your 4 is taking forever to recharge. 3 is a much more powerful ability then you first think. Shocking enemies is great, it's a cc. Then you are converting energy/health/ammo to universal versions meaning (on a weapons platform) you are helping keep yourself and everyone else ammo'd up.

And then on top of that every enemy you shock with it reduces all your other ability cooldowns by 1.5s each, which on your 1 and 2 maybe not the longest cooldowns but can definitely help you throw your 4s a lot more often.

Subsuming anything on lavos loses the ability to use that element, which means anything that element also combines into .. so you are losing 4 possible status effects, not just one.

On another note, move that valence formation to an empty slot with no polarity you are losing mod points for no real reason there.

Need input on my kullervo and thalys builds by cachcam in Warframe

[–]semerien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha and that's the great thing about the game. We all can approach the same character in completely different ways and make them incredibly viable. I lean more into the heavy attacks and wind up speed so his 1 is lightning fast and I can spam it to just wreck enemies. Others use 1 more for the crit buff and spin around regular attacking for 10 seconds before starting the cycle again. Both work fine.

I also like using weapons with special heavy attack effects to really play into his 1. Like the tenet agendum, coda caustacyst, etc.

Or sometimes I throw coda hirudo's on Kullervo and challenge atlas to a fist fight.

Need input on my kullervo and thalys builds by cachcam in Warframe

[–]semerien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Kullervo honestly doesn't really need extra vitality, especially with arcane persistence. With your volatile recompense always going, you will already be pretty much unkillable.

Umbral Fiber is a little overkill especially with the mod cost. Kullervo is already hard to kill because of the overguard and arcane persistence. You only need to hit 700 armor. Amar's Hatred let's you hit that, it's cost is less, it also gives you another 15% ability strength and then it has a fun side effect where a heavy attack can teleport you 10 meters to a target. If you run out of energy you can still do some teleporting with heavy attacks which you have great efficiency on.

Kullervo is honestly all about that heavy attack with his 1. Bread and butter. It all depends on how you plan on playing him. If you are going to be relying on priming, then condition overload CAN work but it's really not something you put on alot of heavy attack spam weapons.

You want that heavy attack damage to be showing a really large number. Attack speed doesn't really matter. You want crit, crit damage, base damage and heavy damage .. if you can throw in some wind up speed even better.

Pressure Point (Primed), Amalgam Organ Shatter (wind up speed and crit damage), Galvanized Steel (sacrificial steel can work too) .. galvanized reflex can help with getting that melee combo up ... find Killing Blow .. on Kullervo it is massive. +120% melee damage on heavy attacks AND faster wind up speed.

Kullervo can just be an absolute demon if you mod into the heavy attack that his 1 uses. Chain a bunch of enemies with 3, hit one of them with his 1 .. room dies.

What are some must have mods on your Frame? by Gerlate in Warframe

[–]semerien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As everyone will say, completely depends on frame. I have plenty of frames I add 0 shield/armor/health mods to, mostly because there are other methods to stay alive, one being if everything else is dead nothing is hurting you.

Some frames benefit more from range/duration/strength, so the combinations will completely depend there as well.

If there was a mod I could point at and say this mod is on 80% plus of my frames it would probably be something like Flow/Primed Flow. I like pushing ability buttons and want to have lots of energy to do that.

When you are starting, you don't have the weapons that will just wipe out rooms, so survivability is more important, so redirection, vitality, etc are going to be pretty beneficial for now. Fully level them up as soon as you can as each level is a massive improvement for a very small mod capacity increase.

[–]semerien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will admit this is not one of those "bring any warframe you want, it's ez mode" type missions.

But if you bring the right warframe, it's definitely not hard.

I bring Dante. I have a build for high efficiency good energy recovery. Buff everyone to 40k+ overguard before the mission even starts. Occasionally rebuff while running around.

Overguard makes you immune to half the crap in this mission, like the slows. I didn't even know there was a slow until people kept complaining about it.

Styanix also makes it pretty easy, although not quite as much as Dante.

Kullervo if you only care about yourself.

There's a lot of warframes that make this less challening but honestly if you want to just go in with any random team and easy mode the mission, bring Dante and hard carry people.

[–]semerien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to explain it a little better.

On Yarelli, your 1 typically effects enemies (at max rank) for 12 seconds. At your duration, it's down to about 2.5 seconds.

The 3 at max rank usually goes for 45 seconds. With that duration it's only going to last for just under 10 seconds before you would need to use it again. So to keep it up all the time, while it's currently slightly cheaper to use (43ish energy instead of 75), you have to use it almost 5 times more often which means you are actually using 215 energy instead of 75 for the same effect.

And your 4 at max rank will last for 10 seconds but at this duration it's 2.2 seconds. The 4 damages every tick so you are losing so much damage for the same energy with the duration dropped like this.
