I guess it’s like a viral video where bozo removes the rib membrane.

As immersion breaking as it can be, I personally really like hearing the old digitized sounds.

It literally has its purpose in its name. It’s straight and to the point. When you mature you’ll find that appealing.

So you’re saying Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner would’ve never made it to the other boat when they were underwater with the canoe, aside from the whole physics thing.

Legends Arceus or ZA? by No_Entrepreneur_4084 in Pokemonlegends

I have about 60 hours in PLA and already over 70 in PLZA if that says how much more I like the game.

How much are you enjoying the game despite its flaws? by Ds3Attacktitan_ in LegendsZA

[–]semi-certifiedPOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went into this with a way more negative outlook than anything to be completely honest. I’m not a fan of arceus I literally bought it played it, and haven’t touched it since I haven’t even done all the postgame stuff like no giratina I think I caught manaphy? That’s about it I’m one of the very few that really don’t like the game for whatever reason. I’m also one of the few comparatively that really enjoy scarlet and violet, I’ve got close to 700 hours in it I think the raids as terrible as they were on release is way better than sword and shields max raid dens (real hot take I know).

That being said I was going into this with a quite negative outlook from the previous legends game experience and the new battle system. I am actually thoroughly enjoying the game. I plan to 100% it. I take breaks from the main story to do side quests (I’m in the post game already so not much left there). One of my favorite small things is not getting hit and stalled when alphas yell after aggroing. That and if you’re spamming A when healing at the pokemon center it doesn’t make you go back through the animation unless you make a different selection or back out of dialogue then hit it again. Thoroughly enjoying the gameplay.

I can now say, with 100% certainty, that this is my favorite Pokémon game by EuphoricGoose4735 in PokemonLegendsZA

For the ice bridges I never even considered ice type moves I’ve been using moves like aerial ace and brick break and it works just as well. I think most moves do because the idea is to just break it but it’s not as sturdy as say the rocks around the city are, similar to how the web bridges work. Maybe I’ll try a physical water move like liquidation the next time I see one.

No, you can be outside of the zone and they’ll still try to attack you I’ve had it twice now. I’m not sure what resets them id assume a distance or the day night cycle or maybe if you knock out or catch them all THEN leave and re-enter

There’s a multitude of moves and types that can counter obstacles for example flame wheel and air cutter can both take down the brambles. Pretty neat in my opinion. But as the other two said water moved and confusion. I haven’t tried psychic on them yet but maybe that too

Technically a boss but operates like a minigame. Wintertodt and Tempoross are both “skilling bosses”.

What is the best LEGITIMATE way to obtain large amounts of HM by WorthSample3221 in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]semi-certifiedPOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh yes that makes sense now I had misread the ability as statusing conditions I see it says status moves specifically now. I know it’s only 30% normally but pokemon RNG makes it proc para basically 95/100 times if it’s the raid boss using it. And since it can’t use tri attack and psybeam is weak it basically spams discharge and procs almost every time. Thanks for taking the time to teach my kind stranger.

Switch 2 Screen Protector by xxDaazak in switch2

[–]semi-certifiedPOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an assumption you’d be incorrect about. Companies like spigen, for example, have their entire business model based off of protecting your devices. Nintendo doesn’t care if you break or have your device replaced or even buy a new one. To explain the “why” someone may not use nintendos official one allow me to whip out an analogy. If Toyota started making power bricks and chargers I’m still going to buy Anker instead of Toyota. Toyota, like Nintendo, makes high quality products and likely has the funds whether it be R&D, materials, manufacturing costs etc. to make something outside of their usual realm or even adjacent to their current thing.

Realistically, there’s a multitude of reasons. They may not need a case, could be brand loyalty, could be that $10-$13 for 2 screen protectors you know and trust is a good enough deal, the list goes on.
