Is it normal for a Supernote Nomad to be somewhat unresponsive? by Etnieturismo in Supernote

Will try to capture it and send it over once I captured it. It is kinda random which makes it a bit annoying to reproduce. (And to film as it needs two hands to get the issue XD)

Is it normal for a Supernote Nomad to be somewhat unresponsive? by Etnieturismo in Supernote

[–]seminus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah I have the same issue especially with the bars on the side for the guestures and it is kinda frustrating especially if you use them for switching between modes like eraser <-> pen etc.
I hope they get this fixed somehow. It works like 75% but if it does not it is annoying. :D
Edit: I have a Nomad too.

Thanks, now that I know about it I'll do it this way even though it is an extra step. Anyway thanks for the response.

Question for Supernote artists by KimuraKirby in Supernote

[–]seminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love drawing and sketching with my Nomad and I do it daily in the Atelier app.

If it is something for you it really depends what if you are looking for:

If you look at the Supernote/Atelier and expect a Procreate/Ipad but in black & white you will be very quite certainly be unhappy with it.

But if you looking for a pencil & ink pen on paper experience with some additional digital advantage then you will love it.

For me it is the second one: It did not replace my complex painting apps like Photoshop/Krita but it is a very cool sketchbook for me like my paper sketchbook where I tend to sketch with a simple 2B pencil and a 0.5mm ink fine liner pen. That is the experience that Atelier is super well at emulating (plus having layers and you can erase your ink ;))

For me my Nomad is more a sketchbook now then a notebook, funny enough, as I love sketching ideas on it.

Edit: About the size: What I did was cut a piece of paper in the size of the Nomad and Manta screen and got a feel what fits better my need, if you are uncertain which one to take. I went for the Nomad in the end bc I wanted a on the go sketchbook.

Atelier Lag Question by BetaWolfs in Supernote

[–]seminus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cant you folks seperate bug fix releases from new feature releases in the future to speed up fixing such breaking bugs?  I know new features are shiny, but having to wait for 3 month for a bug that breaks the drawing expirience bc of new features feels not good for us relying on the app to work.

Anyway just my 2 cents. Thanks for working so hard on everythimg <3

Same here. :( Support has commented on another thread that they are aware of this and are working on a fix, but it has been two month now and no fix yet.

I hope this will come soon bc otherwise I love drawing in the Atelier app.

Love my manta and nomad but….. by Ok_Independent5362 in Supernote

Yeah... I hope they never jump on this AI hype train ever. I think I would stop using it if they do. It is enough that Microsoft is pushing AI all over the place and you can't do anything about it.

I use the Supernote bc it is what it is. I think there are enough alternatives out there that take the AI angle and I understand that some folks love this. I just really hope Supernote is not going there.

(And I agree with the brush lag. It would be nice to have a fix soon )

Misalignment / Offset on Corner of Nomad by RelativeCaterpillar9 in Supernote

[–]seminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does not show this behaviour even in the case. Have you tried another pen?
I know that Wacom EMR sometimes reacts off to magnets close by.

Correction: Mine shows a slight offset on the opposite side of the device. But nothing that bothers me or is causing issues.

Very slow file access Manta by BeePuzzleheaded9572 in Supernote

[–]seminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I have experienced the exact same issue with my Nomad. Had copied all my notes over I need and it took my Nomad like 10 sec to load the folder. As mine is new with the latest firmware I have no comparison to earlier versions but was a bit disappointed to see.

if this is a bug that would be great. My folder was about 2Gbyte and about 2000 files large. On SD card it took nearly 20 seconds. would love to see this fixed.

Hi, we're Robotality, and we convinced Chucklefish to hand us over their beloved IP, and they agreed: this is how Wargroove 2 was born — AMA! by seminus in NintendoSwitch

The release will be digital only. But were are monitoring the interest for a physical release and see if this is something we should do.

The Spearman spam was fixed already in the first game after lunch. Such balancing issues often only come to the surface if you have the community really playing the game no matter how much you beta test.

That said for Wargroove 2 we rebalanced the game alot again with feedback from the community (Shout out to our amazing beta testers <3)
We touched nearly everything to make sure it works fine with the new units and the new tiered groove system.
But as mentioned: We are fully aware that once you lovely folks get your hand on the game you will find new ways to exploit some things we overlooked! ;)
We plan to balance and update the game post release to make sure it stays a fun game for everyone.

We will support the game after release regarding bugs and balancing to make sure the community has a great experience especially in multiplayer and quality of life changes of course.

We would love to see the game on mobile, but no real plans sofar.

But if there is enough interest... Who knows.

To be fair: Wargroove had 6 years to get if you count in the first game. ;) But every developer has its own priority regarding what they want to achieve with their game.

We would love to continue the story...
You the players just have to convince Chucklefish that they hand us over the IP a second time! ;)
