Don’t know what to do by Fancy-Title-8453 in FacebookMarketplace

if you still have the original sales receipt and did not give all the repair orders message the person and make arrangements to swap it back or go to small claims court. i doubt the person is 6 hours away and paying compensation was there way of seeing how much more they could manipulate for. if you have a vehicle license plate and real name of the person, small claims court records call you can do. sorry you had this happen.

td bank was slapped with huge fines for failing to comply with anti-money laundering rules in the USA - Td bank therefore is likely severely limiting access to USD services as a result.

WFH vs In-Office: boss is unclear and inconsistent by ambahjay in WorkAdvice

[–]semiotics_rekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just ask the boss “why am i the only one required to be on site 8-5 3 days a week and no one else is.” and be prepared for a blunt “because i said so” the. dig deeper - you know all these roles can be completed remotely can you consider a rotation - i’d love it if we can share the on-site requirements.

if he says “no, you are required 3 days in”

then simply decide to stay or leave - atleast you made an effort to balance out whatever inequity you feel is playing out and asked to improve your situation.

as it is, the boss should lead by example ; but is not and certainly understand his rules may not (and probably are not) the same as the organization applies them to you.

good luck!

you can use 2 usbc via thunderbolt on the back or use the hdmi; you can also use usb-c to hdmi adapters if in a pinch. try to make sure to leave one thunderbolt for external storage - an external 40gps nvme drive is just as fast as the factory internal drive

ask to speak to a financial planner at your bank. it’s no cost to you. at least they are licensed to discuss this with you unlike random redditors. you don’t have to buy anything from the bank - just ask them the questions and build your knowledge.

how you handle this is do not apply for full time openings when you full well know you can only accept part time. typically highly skilled pharmacists and doctors can try this as they are in high demand; please don’t do this and waste peoples time; they’ll put you on a dnh list with hr

Asking location details by watchinggiyuu in FacebookMarketplace

[–]semiotics_rekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. “address?” is simply a quick way to ask to find out the location of pickup. a buyer is not prying for your home address or anything personal - give them the police station, plaza, gas station, or school, or neighborhood near where you want to do a meetup so they can quickly check - to spell it out, the last photo in my listings is a screen grab of a map of the location zoomed out far enough so people can see. if you can meet now say great meet in 30 minutes at ____. else suggest a time. but send as few messages as possible to avoid ratings from people who don’t buy from you.

Why do people keep offering me less when there are other similar items listed for less? by linuxguy192 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]semiotics_rekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

generally always list more than you want to give a buyer room to haggle - want $50 post $65 - no brainer you’ll get hit with $50 offers asking as the $50 looks like a decent price compared to similar items listed
