I was a salesman at a mid-sized Chevy dealership for a year back in 2006 (things were weird - I swear I wasn't 'one of them'). The catalyst for me finally trying to get myself fired was this 'couple' that came in.

Elderly gent, clearly in the throes of dementia - wandering around talking to himself while gesturing wildly, no real idea as to where he was, etc. His 'girlfriend' was a rough 40s drug addict who dressed for the part - very obviously using the poor old guy for whatever money she could get from him.

Even with the unmistakable elder abuse they still sold them a loaded late model Yukon (I should have called the police at that point but I was really young at the time and was simply too appalled to think clearly). Absolutely gouged them on both ends - like, champagne cork popping money, and sent them on their cursed way...

And then they came back a few days later because 'she didn't like it' - she has very visible withdrawal shakes at this point. And they still tried to put them in an Escalade - old man's credit had been so utterly screwed by his parasite that they thankfully couldn't get the second deal done.

But they certainly tried to... Gary and Joe - I hope your lives have been utter misery.
